  1. Nicky that posted above has a T/MC kit though, not AP.
  2. Pictures added to our reference gallery. Had to make a few new categories as well. Phew! Thanks again.
  3. Don't worry. If you ever build another suit you'll think it's super easy.
  4. I don't use the tape for any pressure, just to keep things lined up while I add the cover strip.
  5. I use tape along the inside seam to keep the halves together while the outer strip cures with claps on the ends and magnets in the middle.
  6. You don't really need an inner cover strip. It hold up just fine with just the outer strip.
  7. The TK helmet might be ABS, or so I'm assuming. But their 'Legend' TB helmet will be fiberglass despite the originals were ABS. But that has to do with the TB assembly being much weaker than a TK helmet so if they didn't use fiberglass it would break very easily.
  8. Are you looking for a trooping helmet or a display? If you just want a trooping helmet TM makes a more affordable and very accurate hero helmet.
  9. Mind if we add some of your pictures to the FISD reference gallery (link is up top)?
  10. Also keep in mind that the vocoder is not supposed to be a separate part, so make sure that is in place before you form anything.
  11. I've seen the reverse done. But as stated above, it's not really the plastic that matter but the colour, and that can be different even with the same plastic from the same supplier. It varies between batches from the factory too.
  12. Don't look too closely at the eFX for anything. There's nothing that is accurate about it. Wishing you the best of luck!
  13. If it's not staying put on it's own tension feel free to use a little dab of glue. E-6000 also works and isn't as permanent CA glue.
  14. I wouldn't bother getting weaker than N45. It would probably still work, but there's no reason to skimp out on it.
  15. They might be busy. Have a little patience.
  16. I think that the newer sets of TM 1.5 mm ABS is almost as shiny as the 2 mm acrylic capped. If I were to get a new armour that's what I would go for as well.
  17. I would just like to add that I consider this approved already and the suggestions made doesn't affect EIB approval, but if David wants to make them and submit pictures then I'm all for that since it does improve the armour.
  18. The helmets are allowed, but FX/AM is on it's way out and not recommended. MRCE/eFX require modification for approval. Neither are allowed for centurion (and with FX/AM also EIB) approval, but you can still get legion approval with them. I recommend that you do not get either of them however. Start by reading this thread and you'll get a better understanding on how to get good quality without resorting to e(vil)bay. http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/index.php?showtopic=11538
  19. I believe MonCal is the only one who makes those ATM.
  20. Sounds really nice! And no wonder, both old cars and old machines are engineering marvels. Hehe, yeah that's vey true. If you're going to celebration next year I'll buy you a beer!
