  1. This is a hard one for me and I'm on the fence about this. I think this is one of the first centurion applications for ANH stunt with FX chest and back, and it sets a precedent that can affect the centurion program negatively. While I do like your enthusiasm for modding the FX to the best of it's abilities, There is a number of details, like those mentioned by Tyler, that I'd prefer see adjusted. It wouldn't be fair to the others who also have worked really hard on their centurion to approve anything other than great. Rules are rules, but there are also some gaps in those rules where judgement comes in, since nothing is air tight. I'm also concerned about your blaster. While it's cool that you've made it yourself, and I've seen far worse, I'm not convince that it holds up to centurion standards.
  2. Yes. They looked like this http://whitearmor.net/eib/certificates/2959.png But we're in the process of complete overhaul.
  3. The new design is brand new and looks very different. It's not long now I think before we're happy with it. We've kept a tight lid on it because you never know how things go, and maybe I'm revealing to much even now. But I think we'll be done soon.
  4. We're almost done with the new design. If you must I can make you an EIB certificate with the old design. But I can't make you a centurion certificate unfortunately.
  5. Low quality often involves either too thick plastic or too fragile. In this case it's most likely too thick, and thus looses a lot of detail, as well as being based on the least accurate moulds there has been the last 10 years. While it may look like a stormtrooper to you, there is nothing that is really right about how it looks.
  6. You're looking at a low quality FX recast. Let me add some comparison pictures. You can find the images I used in the comparison as high-resolution here: http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/index.php?showtopic=20131
  7. I should put that seller on the avoid list really. It sure is one fugly armour and complete waste of cash for those that buy it. Even more than the rubies.
  8. Now make sure that the suggested improvements are made, Mark.
  9. Agreed. If you don't have the cash for it now, hold out and save up. Like Karin also said, even if you could find all the parts you need individually, the shipping costs for all the parts would add up to a much larger sum than to buy it all at once.
  10. Done. Thanks. I looked at another EIB thread in between and I guess the name stuck in my mind somehow.
  11. Alright. I see it. Approved! Btw, what's up with the missing cover strip in the picture 10th picture?
  12. Sorry about the delay in reviews. Your turd polish may not be completely worthless. My suggestions are that you paint the ear screws white. As they are now are like a soar thumb. Secondly, you're so skinny! I think you can trim some more off the sides of the ab and kidney, move the back plate up higher and the drop boxes higher up and slightly inwards to align better with the corner of the belt. Also, get a better camera. Your pictures look like they were taken with a webcam from the 90's With that said, I think I can approve you.
  13. Hi Sorry I didn't notice this earlier, but your shins are opening the wrong way around (opening should be facing inwards). This is a basic membership requirement and should have been pointed out beforehand. Thus I'm unable to grant you EIB status. However, once that's fixed you're good to go. I do however agree 100% that your thighs would look a lot better with a wedge-shaped trim to narrow the lower end of your thighs. A more secure way of attaching shoulder bells to bring them in and up to decrease the amount of black shown around your shoulders, cutting off the wrap around wings of the chest and back, and get smaller hand guards. The AM hand guards are grossly over-sized.
  14. Back away slowly until it's out of sight. Then start running!
  15. The Jedi Robe kit is recast FX armour, but a recast SDS helmet. Secondly, no AA did not convert the sculpt to forming bucks. Elstree studios already had those since they had already made a few suits in-house before the rest of the work was outsourced to SDS.
  16. A much wiser decision!
  17. These galleries was made by Eric and me some time ago now actually. It was just not announced. Anyway.. Thread pinned.
  18. As previously mentioned, AA may say whatever he wants but proof lays in his product. We have pictures of original armour from the LFL archives, as well as RS Props who have their own original sandtrooper and are making 1st generation casts of it. What we see in the original armour is not present or different in AA's product. It doesn't matter if he has the skins or not. What matters is that his product differs from proven original armour, yet he claims that his product is cast from "original" when it clearly isn't.
  19. I suppose it could, but there's no one doing it that I know of.
  20. I wear my belt when I troop around the waist. It's made of nylon webbing. I just pull it really tight. Never had any problems.
  21. So wear it around your waist then
  22. But I am eating!
  23. Strap the ab together with the chest and the kidney with the back instead. It is much more reliable. I'm 177 cm and 60 Kg. No hips is not an excuse. I'm slim as a stick.
