  1. Yeah, that looks fine to me. The reason I want people to put them at the far edges of the canister is that if I didn't, people would put them way too far towards the middle. My original specification of that requirement didn't mention any measurements, since I think there's room for leeway. But I got complaints about that and had to pick some kind of measurement. The TD and it's clips are looking beautiful btw. Great work from both of you!
  2. The rom/fx "classic" is £115 plus shipping but comes with all you need. It's small enough to easily fit in your helmet, but the included speaker will not. I wear both behind my chest plate with great results. It is not as loud as the aker can get, but there is nothing stopping you from connecting the romfx into an aker for the extra boost. You can read more at www.romfx.com. The Icomm/aker combo has a separate thread here on the forum for more info: http://www.whitearmo...n-system-icomm/
  3. In that case yes, you might need them. Another thing that helps against fogging is to make sure the lenses are not sealed around the eyes, so warm air can flow out from gaps. As for the amp/static I guess you've heard of icomm and aker amp. Personally I use rom/fx which is a bit more expensive and harder to come by because of the limited runs, but it's both an amp and static box and overall just the best thing out there.
  4. It would. The sad part is that there is no way to identify which accounts are affected until they stop working. So it's extremely labour intensive to weed them out. But eventually it will be cleaned up.
  5. Don't worry too much about helmet fans. Maybe you live in a much hotter area than me, but I have never needed them. I suggest you try at least one troop without them before you spend time and money on something you might not need.
  6. It is very true what they say. I have to judge you by your submitted pictures. I can't imagine how it really looks like when the armour is worn properly. Nor can I judge you by things like "it normally doesn't look like that, it's just in this picture". Same thing with blurry pictures. How am I supposed to see any detail in those? Pictures must be as good as possible or you risk them being rejected. I can't use your pictures for this application, you'll have to redo them. Good luck!
  7. Almost Rob. You got the you/we mixed up.
  8. It hasn't worked in a long time.
  9. Yes I've heard of them. http://www.whitearmo...id/#entry256877
  10. Use glove liners from now on and let them soak up your sweat instead and you won't have this problem. It's also a lot more comfortable. But yes, a good soaking should take care of your problem.
  11. Any screen accurate armour would fit your size. Chances are that even if you could get a white AM set you'd still need to trim it because it'll most likely be too big for you.
  12. You can fit into pretty much any screen accurate armour with your size and weight. But I'd avoid AP in your case as it's on the slim side. You should have no problem with the others. But it also of course depends on how your weight is distributed. No armour will hide a big beer gut.
  13. I really don't care if you have bicep hooks or not, but they do help keeping the biceps in place, And yours look nice, so good job.
  14. That's cushman you're talking about.
  15. ATA is TE derived. Btw, TE was just caught recasting RS, so that's further proof of his character.
  16. No helmet. You can't go EIB with the helmet. BTW, the white AM kit isn't produced anymore.
  17. Personally I want the best and if that is going to cost me some extra, I simply save some more money to make up for it. It pays off in the long run. But everyone's situation is different of course.
  18. Don't be so afraid of ordering from other countries. How do you think I get any of my things? No one in Sweden makes anything.
  19. Assuming that the other side also tapers like that, then yes.
  20. It's interesting to see you two comment on issues that while true, are not required for EIB, but at the same time not comment at all on the oversized tube stripes.
  21. Pretty much any other maker on our list of vetted vendors have a shorter waiting list than ATA.
  22. Try looking around at other pics, like in our gallery or at starwarshelmets.com. It is quite a large difference once your eyes know what to look for.

    FYI... Ebay

It's from CTMprops, which we talked about here: http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/20813-anyone-know-this-lid/page__hl__ctmprops#entry256877
