Awesome job Oscar!
-
Thanks all for the kind words. We just did our first troop together last weekend and it was blast. My daughter was on cloud nine as she given the honor of escorting two R2 units with perhaps a thousand spectators on hand. She was one popular little Jawa that evening and looking forward to the next troop. Thank you Christaan! I will defiantly take you up on that offer.

Heavy Weapons Trooper Pack

That's awesome! -
Here's a Poll that was conducted not to long ago in regards to undersuits... -----------

This kit being my first and was excellent kit and a joy to assemble for the very small exception of the TD. It was somewhat of a slight pain to assemble the halves but easily doable with decent results. PandaTrooper shows an excellent pictorial on assembling the TD, "TD ASSEMBLY" . However, knowing me I can foresee this thermal detonator being trashed its just a matter of time. I agree, assembling a PVC backup is an excellent idea with this particular kit as one mentioned due mainly to the solidness and accuracy of using PVC.

Me & my daughter will be doing our very first troop together this weekend. Were both stoked and ready to go!

OUTSTANDING! I know I'm a little late on the reply but that is one incredible job you did ... the best I have seen by far, unbelievable! Me and my daughter are doing our first troop this weekend and she'll be going as a Jawa. She likes Jawa's but loooooves Ewoks. This may be a future project of mine for obvious reasons. Thanks for providing some tutorial. This project may actually become reality... I thank you!

E-6000..hands down! Plastic Weld is really nice to have around too -
I'll have to research that. I'm sure I can get it tricked out & dialed in. I'm might even pursue another blaster & BFG down the road as well. I'm addicted! --------

I'm 6'3" currently at 250lbs with a hat size of 7 3/8. I wear a A.N.H 2.5 lid and its trimmed out enough that I can actually maneuver my head in with glasses and a AKER head mic. It just takes a little adjustment but very doable.

Thank you gentleman. I knew it had to be misinterpreted. Granted I'm a noob one could relate to my concern. On a good note, I also just received word from my GML that he did approve me and I just await the official final word before I take my next step into this new journey. Thanks Paul. I posted a some pics for review a few days ago. Let me know if there is any particular close-up shots would like to see. --------- Thanks again!

Exactly Derek. I'm just thinking someone might be interpreting it the wrong way. I'm sure they are going to fine. I guess I'll just have to wait for the official verdict.

I'm sorry although I'm somewhat confused as await approval -------- I'm told that their may be a problem with my boots because the CRL clearly states that: * Boots. These must be white leather or leather like, above ankle, with a flat sole, with small U-shaped elastic sections on both sides of the ankle. Jodhpur-type boots or an equivalent style. No buckles or laces. Elvis or mariachi boots are not acceptable. I own a pair of TK Boots and thought I was in good shape. I could of swore that the TK's portrayed in ANH, ESB and ROTJ all had black heels for the exception of ROTJ when they were white, correct? Are the heels on TK boots to big? I'm not sure am I missing something here? Should I have my heels trimmed down? Seriously...

My Tupperware Kit & A.N.H Helm
TK-6162 replied to TK-6162's topic in Hard Armor (General Discussion)
Thanks for the compliment on the lid. My brother who has experience in automotive painting actually did the entire helm except for the chin, grin & ear pieces which were hand painted. -
I started this morning to work on my right shin piece from twisting while in motion. I have a little problem with it and tends to shift other than a bad trim in the back. The good news is I'm going to be replacing the whole thing here in the next couple of weeks thanks to Wade aka TupperwareTK and the problem will be eliminated which is a good thing. So, with thunderstorms rolling through this morning my original plans this were put on hold for awhile. I then decided to kill the time and attempt a photo shoot on my own. "Man..trying to put my thermal detonator on myself was somewhat challenging" http://i73.photobucket.com/albums/i231/LittleCasino/Smileys/pbdoi-1.gif BTW, I also noticed (while reviewing the photos) I failed to match up my thigh pieces on the backside. They do match up quite nicely, I just failed to notice while gearing up and prior to photographing. So now, I'm open to all criticism. Please let me know what you think as far as anything I need to tweek, fix , repair, rephotograph ect. I appreciate all comments Thank you

I have TK Boots as well and found them to true to size and extremely comfortable.

Thanks guys, I heated it up and it made a defiant improvement.

Rick330's dual TrooperMaster TM build[*TM]
TK-6162 replied to Rich330's topic in Build Threads Requireing Maintenance
Looks great Richard. Curious, are there many other TK's residing on the Canary Islands? -
I have basically completed my armor kit today for exception of just doing a little tweeking here & there. Now, wouldn't you know the absolute last piece I finished was attaching velcro to my right shin armor and I ran into a malfunction of the velcro not attaching along the edge. I replaced and repositioned it and it still leaves to much exposed. My left shin piece and all both thigh armor is looking really good, no problem. Its just the right shin that giving me a problem and Its starting to aggravate the $%@^ out of me as I can't seem to find a fix to the problem. By chance anyone have a solution to this little malfunction? Or am I just overreacting? Thanks

My armor kit is near completion and I have temporarily come to a pause over my thigh pieces. I'm undecided whether I should velcro the back or glue em with some E-6000? Is it personal preference or is there actually a preferred way? I've seen some glued and some with velcro. I'm thinking the glued variation would be cosmetically more appealing although I'm somewhat undecided at this moment. Someone please help make up my mind for me me.. Thanks! Your opinions
