Not terribly blind. I've actually been involved with medieval reenacting for years and work without glasses. However, I've been known to wear my glasses under a full covered helm from time to time. Although, taking the TK lenses into account along with my melon being completely covered I thought it would be an excellent opportunity to allow me to see a whole lot better. Just an option I'm looking into before I make a final decision.

Encouraging news gentleman especially for someone that fits that size. As for any information on the TKX armor this is all I could currently find -----------

Is anyone familiar or have any experience with FX-TKX armor? Curious, as It was brought to my attention today. I was informed that its a modified FX to accommodate those that are slightly taller & bigger than average.

With several options to choose from, and I do understand ones choosing can be based on ones budget. As far as blasters are concerned. Would you say that the Hasbro conversion is most popular E-11 blaster being used? Then if I may ask, what are you packing?

Most interesting on the "Stormtrooper" from Extreme Racing. It appears to be an excellent suit. I especially like their technology of being able to offer both heat & cold protection in one suit...... sweet! Having a two way zipper and then the option to add thumbs & feet stirrups is an excellent idea too.

Can one even sit down with the armor on??

Thank you all for your input. Its looking as if this small obstacle can be conquered. By chance has anyone attempted eye wear under an RT-Mod?

I know its early in the game. Although, it appears so far that the Under Armour is the choice for members stateside. While across the pond they are preferring single suits. Is Under Armour available in Europe?? I would imagine it is, although I really don't know? Ditto!

Gotta ask, How difficult is it to relieve oneself when armored up? Is it troublesome or a smooth operation? I know when under full medieval plated armor or chainmaile one must start to make arrangements immediately when he or she even thinks they have the urge. Is this a pain in the hiney or just a small obstacle that one must face while trooping?

Granted, I have read some of the post here in reference to undersuits, although some of these post are not so current and we all now how some things can change rapidly. So, the big question is: What you are currently using and prefer as an undersuit today? One piece, two piece, Under Armour, Lycra, The Renaissance suit, ect?

Is it possible to wear eyeglasses or rec specs inside the most popular TK Helms? I do know one would have to consider fogging issues which isn't much of a problem nowadays and I personally can go with out wearing them. However, I sure would certainly be able to see a lot better with them on!
