  4. I agree .. I picked up an AP 'flawed' kit and from my perspective .. it's not flawed. AP does have high standards !!

  9. Nice pic !! Hey .... some of us are too !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  10. I had the same problem .. esp on my thighs. The only solution I came up with was clamping the ends and then using a stick taped to a worktable. The far end of the stick was placed at the middle of the armor being glued and then a small weight (tape measure) was put on the armor over the stick end to push the seams of the armor together ... I'm sure there are more elegant methods like long scissor / plier arrangements, but this one worked for me. <_<
  11. All the best and Happy Easter to all.
  12. I'm curious about what responses you get to this one. I was thinking about just this issue the other day and wondering the same thing.
  13. I've had good and bad luck with Krylon Fusion. Two tips though ... - definitely wait 7 days after you let a coat or two setup before recoating again (or more if you can) and - paint where it's warm (not outside in the cold this time of year).
  14. Since I finished this last weekend I thought I'd post pictures of the progess of my DLT-19 ... I wasn't going for 100% accuracy, just the look, so I'm happy with the way it turned out. I followed (generally) this tutorially on the web Blaster Tutorial. I added the scope at the last minute, but may decide to remove it. Here are the pics from start to finish ... Cheers
