  1. I used a $9 skateboard helmet liner kit... great pre-cut stuff and velcros in nicely. Good, snug fit.
  2. I lucked out and found black "BCG" brand compression shirt and pants with no logos at Academy Sports & Outdoors. ---------
  3. I agree with the blowdryer method... much easier to control the amount of heat and gives you good results.
  4. Martin, FWIW... this is my AM armor kit with a Kev's 2.5 ANH bucket that I painted with Rustoleum High Performance Gloss White paint. I think that they matched up rather well. -----------
  5. Stephen, excellent job on your armor... looks top notch!!!
  6. Congratulations and many blessings!!!
  7. TK 4055 requesting access. Links: http://www.501st.com/members/displaymember.php?userID=11649&costumeID=1 http://forum.whitearmor.net/index.php?showtopic=11156 Thank you.
  8. Terrell, I finally got a chance to take those pics that you requested... hopefully these will suffice? I'm sorry for the delay, I had to take these myself (they're in reverse with the aid of a mirror).
  9. Sure thing sir! I'll get my son to take some more pics of me showing the changes ASAP.
  10. Yes sir, I agree... 1" straps are what I have on it now, per an earlier suggestion (unlike the 2" straps seen in the pics).
  11. Thanks for the critique... yes the straps are white on the drop boxes and the butt and kidney plates are separate (the AM armor kit comes with the two seperated already). Whoops! Thanks for catching that... I dropped the ball on that one, good eye! I have the Chicago screws reversed now... hopefully that will suffice?
  12. Well, here goes... ANH "Stunt" style: Kev's ANH 2.5 helmet w/ green welder's lenses and Hovi-Mix mic tips AM Armor TK Boots Hasbro E-11 Blaster (modified) Anrev's leather holster FYI... per some suggestions here on the forum, the "chrome strips" are no longer present on the thermal detonater as you can see in some of the ab pics. I've also installed thinner 1" chest/back straps as suggested (which are different than what you see here in the pics).
  13. I just finished my AM kit! I need to post pics and apply for FISD/ EIB. How/ where do I get started?
  14. That's a neat idea... glad you were able to make it work out. FWIW I just used a hair dryer on my AM ammo belt... I was able to shape it just fine.
  15. I just finished building my AM kit... wonderful quality!!!
  16. Man, that looks great... very nice job!!!
  17. Those are threaded billet aluminum buttons that come with the AM kit... not snaps. I attached my AM plate with a little E 6000 glue around the edges and it's held just fine.
