Nice work, I wouldn't go any further or you will risk interference with the middle circle. In references they are pretty straight on the sides and no rounding off.1 point

I have put two AP kits together, I find they fit the thinner frame but also some with a little girth. Definitely don't get pre trimmed and they can then be a little small in places. I wouldn't hesitate putting another AP together1 point

Just a gloss white. All systems will have one. The Humbrol enamel is a little more on the yellow where a Tamiya is more of a pure white. For an ABS armour the slightly yellow colour works but for a acrylic capped a purer is probably going to look a bit better. If your worried about accuracy the humbrol enamel is probably the one you want.1 point
