And huzzah! I think functionally it is complete! (aside from paint and fixes of course) Yes it's a bit of a mess but hey it works, and I can make it pretty after comic-con. Really happy with it, it's a good fit, and it stays on my head properly. That other velcro patch is for a battery pack that I have charging currently, and I definitely need a new microphone, the current one is crap.1 point

Outstanding job John, If I may, regarding your TD , you may want to move down a little more the control panel . The ribbed area should face toward the rear, with the O ring on or near the top. CRL for Basic: The white control panel raised ribbed pad faces the rear, with the controls/round washer style detail closest to the right end cap. Reference images1 point

Alright, got it mocked up, using a TIE pilot bust as a stand, and I gotta say I'm loving it so far. The printed brow trim actually looks pretty damn good. Once I get the white parts all smoothed and shined up I'm going to add the black paint to the tear and trap recesses and adhere everything together, just gotta make the time to do that next!1 point
