Hi there, First of all , amazing build you have achieved. I too started off building a whole TK suit out of Eva foam. Had the same experiences as you with plastidip paint too. The experience I gained led me to take the plunge and buy a vac formed 1.5mm abs kit and build it myself. I found all the previous skills learned actually made the abs kit build easier and built it in far less time than the Eva foam version. Can’t recommend it enough. Looks like our designs are definitely different, Rich. I used the 12 mm on mine because that was the maximum size I could fit, but yours looks to have a larger opening in the button area so you may be able to use larger (15 mm) sizes! COOL!

Those look good, a shroud could be knocked up to hide that gap.

12x12 square push is proving a hard to source. I found some "lens cap" style buttons but they are industrial style and you're looking at £7 ish each for the lense and a switch, and it's a bulky swich. Lot's of options at 15mm though, do you have some measurements from the printed ones? If you can use a momentary then you could probably use a small tactile and we could design a 3D printed Cap for it.

Look normal to me. Thighs are normally glued, although they are seen coming apart in a few scenes, here's just one from TROS

I started a new hobby outside of my model making, it still involves my Star Wars models, but I photoshop them into various scenarios, sort of a “What If?” similar to the Marvel series. Check out @starwars_multiverse on Instagram for more of my edits! I may work on creating some scenes with my stormtrooper armor on, but the set up, staging, and lighting is pretty complicated doing it on my own.
