Bucket question

Recommended Posts

I was wondering if blacking out the inside of helmet is ok for EIB. I am trying to be really ambitious and start at the top. I know it is not screen accurate, but I am interested if there is a concensus regarding this procedure.

Thanks,

Christaan

Christaan, I think all non visible mods are OK for EIB. As long as it's something that doesn't alter the outside appearance of the armor you can do it.

But wait for an official word on it from FISD staff.

Blacking out the inside of your helmet would not effect your submission for EIB. :duim:

As Damian said, any mods inside the helmet are acceptable as long as they don't alter the visual

appearance from the outside. :)

As a side note, you may want to spray / paint the first coat white as a few guys have mentioned

that putting black directly on the inside of some helmets gives a dull greyish effect from the outside.

Just a thought :)

Exactly, which is why cutting the cod from the ab plate is acceptable as long as the line covered by the belt. This is also why a voice amplifier or fans are not mentioned at all in the requirements.

I've noticed this too, on a couple helmets where the pull might be a little thinner, sometimes it even turns out blotchy / patchy looking depending on the lighting.
