Good evening everyone, I signed up today. My name is Vincenzo and I'm Italian. I've always been a fan of Star Wars, especially the Imperial Forces.

I'm considering purchasing a TK Stormtrooper Tall Armor kit; 

in the meantime, since I'm a modeler, I built an E11 blaster, I just need to paint it

Where in Italy are you from? I was recently in Milan, Bergamo, and a few other places... I was also in Rome a couple of years ago... It's a beautiful country with great food and wonderful people...

I'm toying with the idea of buying an armor for an ANH stormtrooper but, to do a good job, it takes a lot of time and a lot of money too

I'm looking for a store in Europe that can sell ANH armor at a good price that has 2.5mm thick ABS, just enough to have more resistant armor...

I would have found DA prop, do you know it?

And anyway, I need a lot of advice so I don't get the order wrong. Considering that I'm 1.88m tall, I think I should get an XL armor set.

I don’t know DAProp and it looks like their Etsy store is currently closed, so it is tough to get an idea of their accuracy. 
make sure to look at this post for vendors we know are trustworthy and produce accurate costumes.

DA is ok. We have a number of members here who have various kits from him- TKs and TIEs. I built one of his helmets for another member a few years back and it wasn't my favourite to work on. Not a lot of meat where the back overlaps the faceplate, the film for the lenses was very flimsy, not very opaque. And the kit was missing a few screws. Fellow member had similar issues with their TI kit. I had a much more enjoyable time putting together a CFO lid( but thats ROTJ) and a RWA that became my Zombie.

Its a perfectly serviceable kit, and is clearable, but IMO there are better options based in the EU and UK.
