This is what I have so far. Was a fun challenge figuring out how to reach the file limit size. I think the only thing I am missing are photos with the holster on. Not sure if I need to modify the holster or belt, but any advice to make sure that's right would be appreciated. The holster is probably what I need help with the most since I don't normally wear it. I am starting with these to see what I need to adjust and then I'll re-submit for a pre-approval. My 501st application is pending, but I understand it can take time. Apologies in advance for the double tap, but I was guided to this site after some initial talk with some current 501st members.

Hi Tom, and thank you for the detailed photos.

I'll check something with you first.  The ear bars, are they painted grey? Due to the lighting in the photo they look black so just wanted to confirm they are the same colour as the frown (painted Teeth)

Probably the first thing that I notice is your holster straps are not ANH style, they are RotJ so not suiting the movie the rest of your costumes construction is based towards.

This is an easy fix without having to buy another holster as it is just modifying the straps and re attaching them with Chicago screws, which will allow you to remove it from the belt if you ever need to.

ANH Straps show the other side of the leather are short not loops and for basic approval can be black or tan in colour.

Check out any of the ANH Stunt build threads from the last couple of years so you can see what I am talking about and how others have achieved theirs

https://www.whitearmor.net/forum/forum/80-anh-build-threads/

You can also check out the ANH gallery for screen references and images of screen used suits.

There are a couple of minor dressing issues you can also adjust to look like that just stepped off the set look.

Even your thigh heights up as one sits a little lower than the other in your images, probably just a strap length adjustment and it's done.

Your backplate has quite an overlap of the kidney plate and technically should sit on top of it.

Again I think this is a simple shoulder strap adjustment that will bring it up higher and get closer to the desired look.

Hope this helps

Your images are a little small to view details, the forum only allows so many attachments, many of us use a free online image host to upload images then copy the links directly into your post, here's just one

There are quite a few issues with SDS and some items will need addressing before you can seek legion approval, here are a few threads with items needing addressing and @Helotech documented his updates thoroughly

I'll echo what @Sly11 said, the holster is wrong for this version of the TK, as shown in the CRL, the ANH stunt uses this holster, which is attached to the back side of the belt via Chicago screws, and is required for approval.

You can pick this holster up from several different vendors, or possible even ask Shepperton Design Studios if they sent you the incorrect version, if you could swap it out with them.

You back armor (backplate, kidney and butt plate) should ideally not overlap each other. They should butt up to each other or have small gap (specifically the kidney and butt plate). That may just be adjustment of some straps. Compare your image with the screen shot of the movie.

The edge of the shoulder bell should be covering the top of the bicep. In some of your pictures it is, in others it isn't, which leads me to think it is free floating, I might also suggest attaching your bicep to your shoulder bell in order to secure it in place.

Tony ( @ukswrath ) does a really good job showing how he did this in his build thread.

Looking forward to seeing you put in place some updates to your armor so we can help get you approved and out there trooping.

Should be on Helotech's list but the actual rear of the belt is correct also, it's plastic and should be fabric.

I know some in the past have requested replacement pieces like the thigh ammo strip SDS has it curved top and bottom and it should only be on the bottom.

A few other things like placement, your biceps inners are facing forward, cover strips to the front

SDS also add velcro to most pieces, the only ones that need velcro are the rear closer on the shins, also note the overlap on all armor pieces, the outside pieces go over the inside pieces, this is so the opening can't be seen from the sides, note in your rear photos I can see your right shin is overlapping inside over outside. Most armor pieces are glued shut and don't need to open.
