gmrhodes13[Staff]
Nice work, a few images you will need to post: Close up of your shin sniper plate, front on and both sides Close up of your thigh ammo strip and rivets, inside and out. D ring on blaster It's also a bit hard to make out the teeth area, perhaps a front on photo of the teeth not at an angle A couple of adjustments you may want to make: Bring your shoulders in at the top, there is a large gap there. Rear shoulder straps are sitting up. Reduce the gap on your sides, from the CRL: L2 Any gap between the abdomen and kidney armor is no more than 1/2" (12.5mm) wide You could paint the rim of your mic tips/hovis, from the CRL: L2 Screens used shall be of a wide type mesh, with the rim of the mic and the inside white or painted white. Good luck with the application.
justjoseph63[Staff]
Hi Andy, and thanks for your submission for EI! Really nice job overall on this armor, sir, but as Glen mentioned above the gaps between the kidney and ab plates can be no wider that half an inch. The connection looks fairly tight at the moment, so adding some shims would be the way to go at this point so that we can move you along! I am also PMing you an updated list of required photos. bikerapn[TK]
Thanks Guys. I appreciate the feedback. I'm gonna read up on the whole shim topic and see what I need to do and how. At least from this initial feedback that seems to be the biggest area .... If you think of anything else, let me know. Just out of curiosity - after I work that out and it comes time to resubmit, do I start a new thread? Or just add to this one? Thanks again ...
