Need a hand deciding on a few things and some advice.

Howdy all!

I recently got myself a bucket and I want to hydro dip it camouflage.  I have a few questions.

1.  Do I need to prime paint it in a color close to the camouflage?  like using this https://www.amazon.com/The-Army-Painter-CP3005-Primer/dp/B005C3CSAU/ref=sr_1_18?ie=UTF8&qid=1535583474&sr=8-18&keywords=green+primer+spray+paint .

2 Which of the camo patterns should I use?

Thanks you all in advance!

I think I will use the first one too.  New questions.  What's people's opinion on smoked plexiglass for the eye piece? when hydro-dipped can I apply spray paint to the new coating or do I have to apply the top coating first?  Also can I apply latex to rub off  bits of the camo to make battle damage/ wear and tear?

Edit: could I get this topic moved to the Assembly, Mods, and Painting forum?
