Personally, I wouldn't spend my money on it as it is very thin armor and prone to cracking . Also would need a lot of work to get a shine out of it. Not so sure if you could get it accepted for use in the 501st. Like I said it depends on what you are wanting to do with it. It might take more time any money to get it accepted for use. Also I saw recently that MTK was doing a very nice deal on eBay. Probably the only armor being offered on eBay right now that's worth every penny. The guy says he's a member of the 501st. It's abs, not styrene, which I've read is better for storm trooper armor. I definitely don't want to jump the gun and invest in a junk kit. Also in that range is WTF.(Walt's Trooper Factory) you have to find them on Facebook and sign up to there page to communicate the easiest. Good Luck and glad you chose the Empire!
