Garrett803[TK] Posted February 9, 2017 Report Posted February 9, 2017 These guys sound legit. Does anyone know what they use or how they do it? Also what types of cooling systems they have? Quote
kman[TK] Posted February 9, 2017 Report Posted February 9, 2017 They have intricate gesture-based systems that play back pre-recorded sound clips. I don't believe they have any cooling system, but their shifts in armor are short. Quote
justjoseph63[Staff] Posted February 9, 2017 Report Posted February 9, 2017 Kalani is correct. They have only short shifts (as well as Disney handlers), and their voices are pre-recorded. (They don't "speak" except on stage). Their armor is utilitarian since it is used by different people. Disney trivia: If you are a DIsney character, you are (literally) not allowed to tell people that. You must say that you are "A friend of _______" (Darth Vader, a Stormtrooper, Snow White, etc.) I live next door to the "Friend of the Fairy Godmother" from Cinderella. 2 Quote
MBullen64 Posted February 9, 2017 Report Posted February 9, 2017 I am related to a Friend of the big furry guy. And JustJoseph63 is Spot on. I understand that the "voice" is based on military tech. You will never hear a Non-face character use their own voice. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G890A using Tapatalk Quote
