CureMode[TK]
Has anyone used wax (turtle wax) to shine up painted helmets? Just wondering because I have a few rub spots on mine and I am looking for a way to cover them up without repainting or using a gloss coat. Does anyone have any suggestions? Nootch
a few weeks after the paint on mine cured i waxed it using zymol car wax. gave it a nice finish and it smelled pretty good too. , it should help with the rub spots but you'll have to re wax it pretty much once a month. wannabetrooper
I used some rubbing compound then wax on mine (both Turtle wax brands). But it has a clear coat on it. Man it's really shiny!

Chefhawk[501st]
Guys always wait 6 weeks after painting before waxing as you will ruin your hard work. Also halfords in the uk do colour magic and ive heard you can get good results with this product. cheers
