Good looking armor.

Once comment, you will want to make the gaps between your shoulder bells and shoulder straps as even as possible (it looks like one is bigger than the other).  Also, ensure the bells are as close as you can get them to the straps.

Sly or Ukswrath will be with you shortly for your official review.

Good Luck.

Looks good! You may have to trim a little more return edge off your forearms, and possibly add some strapping to restrain the chest to ab connection so you'll never get the gap as shown in your helmet off picture above.

I have been fighting myself over the forearm return edge... I like the look but know for Centurion they gotta go! On the chest / ab I think I might shorten the straps a wee bit or maybe even go with the shorter brackets. Thanks for the advice!!!!

GREAT job on that armor, Jim!  The shims turned out spectacular, which gave you a perfect ab/kidney connection... Awesome work, sir, awesome work indeed.  Not sure if you needed to trim the shoulder bells to make them come in closer.., the left one looks spot on, it's the right one that needed to come in a bit.  Just tighten up the connection to the elastic shoulder strap and that should do it.

Glad to hear that you are headed for Centurion, but you will need to change out the Anovos belt for one that is more rigid.  When you do that, you will want to raise it up a bit to where the ABS belt touches the ab button box.  You are well on your way, sir, and will have those level two and three badges below your name before you know it!

Alright Jim welcome to your EI review, lets get started.

CRL and EIB Application Requirements:

All submission photos have been posted. Your armor displays all the necessary elements to qualify for level 2. Welcome to Expert Infantry trooper!    :salute:

Other-Armor Fit/Assembly:

In this section we review observations made by your fellow troopers and ourselves. Some observations may lead to suggestions to improve the overall look of your armor. If any suggestion affects any application, it will be listed separately in the above or below sections. We have a few areas to cover here. 1) Starting with your shoulders, as your peers mentioned we would like to see the gap between the chest, back and shoulder bells reduced. Shortening the bell to shoulder strap should close up the upper gap and removing the lower bell return edge will eliminate some space between the biceps, essentially closing the lower bell to chest/back gap.

2) Chest plate should cover Ab, not above it. Your issue isn't constant judging by your photos so this more of an advisory.

3) Ab plates have return edge. There's nothing in the CRL that states you can't have return edge on the Ab button panels however, the screen accurate button plates do not have it. If you decide to shoot for centurion it would be nice to see the return edge removed.

4) Waist belt is sitting low. The waist ammo belt should reside just below or even somewhat covering the lowest ab button. Slight belt re-positioning should do the trick.

5) Posterior sitting low. We suggest you find some way to tuck the pesky piece above your thighs not only for aesthetic but to possibly help prevent armor bites.

Centurion Suggestions:

In this area we try to prepare you for the best possible chance of a clean Centurion pass. 1) Waist cloth belt replacement. Though the cloth belt is excepted at EIB it will have to be replaced if you choose to apply for Centurion. The reason for this is because of lack of internal belt support for the holster and other areas allowing belt sag, making it look undesirable.

2) Drop box alignment. It appears your drop boxes are not aligned with the outermost edge of the ammo belt. Applying some glue between the drop box strap and cloth belt should hold them in place.

Awesome!!!  Thank you and thanks on the blaster!!!  I have already reset the snaps for the shoulder bells, trimmed off the return edge to get the bells to fit closer in.  I have reinforced the craptstic Annovos belt (I like the color match... but have another belt, just in case...) that fixes the wrinkles and allows the drop boxes to be push out to the ends.  I'll Work on the buttons n butt :)  Cheers!
