Armor in the rain question

Recommended Posts

The armor (plastic) will be fine, any bolts or rivets not made of stainless may start corroding over time, a long time. I would be more concerned with hypothermia. Then again the armor makes a great thermal blanket as long as it's not too windy. Have fun ;)

I don't know where you are located but if it is in a hot climate, your armor will be wet a lot. The plastic holds in heat which means it will be soaked from the inside.

Always make sure to wipe it down inside and out before packing it up.

Good call by Matt... I always wipe down the inside of my armor using those disposable germ killing wipes after particularly sweaty troops before I put it away.  Moisture, darkness, and no air flow while stored in your bin make for stinky armor, so just drying it out thoroughly will help.

Hmm good info!

My bin is airtight, think I might have to either leave it open when not in use or my other option is to install a USB fan in the bottom corner that....... no, I'll leave it open...

that's no moon, Kim Kardashian is bending over again...
