Armor in the rain question

I assume that being in the rain with armor on is ok? I am wearing my armor for something at work in a few days. I will be outside for about an hour but its calling for rain. I should be fine right?

The armor (plastic) will be fine, any bolts or rivets not made of stainless may start corroding over time, a long time. I would be more concerned with hypothermia. Then again the armor makes a great thermal blanket as long as it's not too windy. Have fun

Stormtrooper armor for the most part can get wet

I don't know where you are located but if it is in a hot climate, your armor will be wet a lot. The plastic holds in heat which means it will be soaked from the inside.

 

Always make sure to wipe it down inside and out before packing it up.

Good call by Matt... I always wipe down the inside of my armor using those disposable germ killing wipes after particularly sweaty troops before I put it away.  Moisture, darkness, and no air flow while stored in your bin make for stinky armor, so just drying it out thoroughly will help.

My bin is airtight, think I might have to either leave it open when not in use or my other option is to install a USB fan in the bottom corner that....... no, I'll leave it open...
