TK8776 jgarrettg
I've been a game designer for International Game Technology for the last 16 years. For the last 7 years I've been designing Star Wars and Indiana Jones slot machines. Since I'm the lead designer I get my hands on just about everything that needs designing from signs, sculpts, glass (printed parts) to the video game content. I think I'm losing my mind because even though Star Wars stuff is my job I still can't get enough and now I'm building Stormtrooper armor. Having a blast though. Here's a little video about my machines. They almost do a good job. http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-8898958788824333438

TK8776 jgarrettg
That looks like that would be a fun job John. It has it's moments. Every time I get frustrated I crawl back to my office and remind myself that I'm having fun. Eric "DarkOne" has the noble job. My helmets off to you. There's no better job than helping children. drosch
I work for the phone company as well. Verizon landline. I work in a call center of over 500 people and I'm the guy who is responsible for making sure we have enough people on the phone so you aren't waiting 20 minutes to talk to a person. (Let the jokes and complaints commence!)

elkamino
Hey all. I work as a project manager and estimator for a decent sized construction management/general construction firm. We build and renovate the casinos in Atlantic City, NJ. I used to do excavation work on the side, but now spend most of my off time making molds and vacuum forming. Navajo Bro[TK]
Me first! Dealing with Verizon call center ---> My goodness I have developed a deep seeded resentment of "automated" help lines because of this. That said, it is still a step up from Cablevision in my area, and I'm very happy with Fios and the actual product

And many of us are thrilled you quit that excavation nonsense to do something more productive, how else am I supposed to get so many cool costumes!! Navajo Bro[TK]
I ride a BMW motorcycle and write tickets. I smell bacon As for me, I worked as a manager in a comic book store through college (which explains a lot of my geekness) but once finished scored a job in law enforcement, which was my goal. Twelve years later I have made Detective and am enjoying the work more and more every day... it really is an exciting job, especially in my area

Somehow making armors is less profitable than excavation though.
