Daetrin[Admin]
OK, let's nail this down: 1. ESB style armor - same as ANH except: * Holster worn on the right instead of left * Snowtrooper hand plates (e.g. curved instead of angular) 2. ESB style helmet * Blue tube strips * Slate blue (aka blue grey) traps/tears * No hand painted traps/tears - decals only * Black frown, but paint does not leave teeth area * Flat green lenses 3. EBS style blaster * No ammo counter * Two greeblies on left rear area Anything missing before it can be considered final?
DaBar[501st]
...and the blaster "heat sinks" should be made of metal "u" channel, instead of rubber tracks. TK-2833[501st]
So, at this point a canvas belt would be considered optional, I imagine. So far, I think this is a pretty good set of guidelines.
troopermaster
I think it should be optional for either a canvas or leather belt at this point as it has not been confirmed 100% as yet. DaBar....your blaster is an ROTJ model and not ESB,just FYI

I was wondering that myself, but I'm ussually not it the right state of mind to make inferences, but who knows, I could still be wrong about it
TK-2833[501st]
It looks pretty ESB to me. What's different on this bad boy?
troopermaster
For a start that's an MGC sterling and not an L2A3 which is what the ANH and ESB's are.The ROTJ blaster in the pic above, has a totally different scope rail, different scope, barrel fins and greeblies are all different to an ESB.I'll try and find some good pics and make a comparison. For some reason I thought they used MGCs on ESB too. Would like to see a comparison pic as well.
TK-2833[501st]
Actually, I just thought of something that should be a part of deployment standards across the board. Hovi-Mix mic tips.

Like mine: Actually that a ROTJ blaster, not ESB. ESB had the standard Sterling SMG while ROTJ had the newer Sterling design which has the different U channels, scope, etc. They're almost entirely different guns. firebladejedi[TK]
There was no new armour made for esb, they re-used the stuff from anh at a very high cost. It looks like 3 ear stripes in most pics, i will put together some screen grabs for people to look at if you like heres just a couple i have for now. SethB6025[501st]
I think you're getting into hero vs. stunt. Cast or demilled, they were all based on the MGC Sterling for ROTJ.
