Grimez Posted June 14, 2014 Report Posted June 14, 2014 So I got my latex handplates yesterday and finally managed to get them satisfactorily on my gloves but on my left glove I do have some excess E6000 marks from where the handplate slid around. Is there a way to wipe that off? Also, I tend to have a problem with my E6000 continuing to come out of the tube even when im not squeezing on it anymore, it continues to do that for another like 10 seconds and becomes messy, is there a fix for that as well? gmrhodes13[Staff] Posted June 14, 2014 Report Posted June 14, 2014 I find rubbing your thumb for a little while on the extra glue will pull it off. I use a rivet in the end of the tube to stop the glue continuing to flow Quote
Grimez Posted June 15, 2014 Author Report Posted June 15, 2014 That does work for most of it, but there is still a mark after it is gone. Quote
HawkFan24 Posted June 15, 2014 Report Posted June 15, 2014 Yeah I use Glen's method as well. I just scratched the glue off with my thumbnail....no marks were left for me....sorry I can't be of much help Quote
TK bondservnt[501st] Posted June 16, 2014 Report Posted June 16, 2014 I use loctite super glue to attach handplates. Quote
TrooperJesse[TK] Posted June 17, 2014 Report Posted June 17, 2014 i used nail polish remover once and it worked for me lol. But don't quote me on this, I don't want it to mess anything up. Might want to put a bit on a Q-tip. Quote
