Cantina Security[501st]
Yes, trim it. Fit it to your arm. Line up the end by the elbow, and trim the wrist area to fit the length of your arm. Then over lap the pieces to fit your arms girth, mark a main control line in the center, trim both sides, and assemble. Good luck man. The5thHorseman[TK]
Both front flat areas are cut to 8mm fo a 15mm cover strip to be glued, then adjustments to make it fits are made in the back. And if it requires to remove the flat areas in the back then do it, these are here only for people using the overlap technique.

gazmosis[501st]
You can do 7-8 MM both are ok. The pic is just for reference showing that you will be trimming off quite a bit in the center. You want a straight seam line in the center. Place a straight edge along the molded raised ridge and see if that is perfectly straight. If not, draw a straight line along that ridge as a guide to take your measurements by. You will measure from the raised edge to approximately the red lines. A Master Builder
Steve is correct on his red lines to where to cut. Measure it with a ruler. I'm heading to work now but when I get back, I will send pictures of my ap forearms for reference
