So how do I trim these so they fit better?

I'm not sure where I trim (which side how much etc.)

Looks to me like they are over trimmed. Not much you can do but get new ears. Probably not what you wanted to hear, but i personally dont see another option.

Sigh...

I was hoping if I shaved down the right areas they would fit better.

I swear I left more material than is on my other helmet!

 

Looking in to new ears and a new forearm (thats another story!)

The ears are really easy to over trim. 

 

I guess thats why ATA comes with two sets...one practice set & one to fit the helmet properly. :D

Ears are a miserable pain in the you-know-what. They do look a little high, but based on the trimming you have done, lowering them will likely just add unnecessary holes to the lid. I'd grab a new pair. Sorry brother.
