Any feedback on Andrew Ainsworth...Original Stormtrooper armour and helmets

he cannot sell to customers in california.  he created armor for the original film, but a fire, and a few lawsuits later make his origins flawed.

there are members who wear SDS armor.

 

it's best just to purchase armor as listed in the getting started section.

some members of the FISD don't like the way andrew's story has changed over the years... some even suspect he

used another maker of armor to replace skins he lost in the fire.

 

I like his work on the armor, and it's in the film, but  he didn't create the armor itself, liz moore, and brian muir created the armor

from Ralph MQ's work.  so we have a situation where some of us suspect flaws in the current offerings for TK SDS armor.

 

on the other hand I'd sure love to have a TIE PILOT helmet and armor.

(only problem is I don't know how you could get in in california.

I don't have any opinion on his TK armor, but his Imperial Navy Trooper helmets are inaccurate. He makes them like the prototype, & not the ones seen on film.

His armour is reworked GF and Oakley/TE derived armour. Not much in the way of links to original. I believe his helmet was a reworked Promotional helmet from what I can tell.....

The usual consensus is that you'll be able to find a better looking and more affordable set of TK armor elsewhere. Follow Verne's link to the list of recommended armor makers and please do keep asking questions.
