my helmet is a little hard to get on is it ok to trim the bottom where the rubber liner goes enough to make putting it on easier

the best location to trim is under the chin area.

 

only need to cut less than 1/4" off right near the chin.

 

don't cut near the ears.

 

are you using the twist on motion for putting on your helmet?

 

Turn helmet sideways and twist on as you lower the lid.

yeah im using the twist on motion just needs a lil more room and thank u for all your help im doing my first build and don't wanna mess up to much and iv started using e6000 after my zap a gap incident lol

Yeah, I have to agree with Vern.  Trim some by the chin.  It also helps to wear a thin balaclava, to sort of push your ears closer to your head.
