Why is this? They, are the reason I came over here. So I can get the stuff I need to trick my armor out. I have my 501st ID. Ive built scouts, TI, BH and tuskens. Just came here to get parts for my build on a TK and a TD. I was told this was the place to come to.....was I told wrong?

There is a minimum post count required to post in the For Sale section. You can look and PM people for their stuff though. I believe the post count is minimum 5, so you're close.

The intent is to encourage members to actually participate in our community, as opposed to viewing the FISD as simply a Craigslist for stormtrooper armor and accessories. While we do have a very active marketplace here, it is not the primary reason we (or any other detachment for that matter) exist.

 

As was said, since you are already a 501st member you can request and receive access to the 501st Only sections. That should partially alleviate your frustration.

Thanks for the heads up about post count. I am researching a lot of stuff in order to make sure my armor build goes smoothly, and having access to the marketplace will be a big help I'm sure.

I was lurking a bit too, makes total sense to me.  On the plus side making the PMs work from the get go was great as I was able to reach out to some makers for bits I needed as I get my armor together.

I did get lucky thought. I made contact because the seller listed their number. I did my reading! Lots! And was able to make a perfect purchase! Exactly what I was looking for and the PERFECT fit!
