  1. I think I read somewhere that you can use door trim found in hardware stores.
  2. C'mon Guys! GO GO GO!
  3. I think he said "and he", not Ani. I can't see him saying Ani. Did he ever refer to Anakin that way in the prequels?
  4. Sure, I can do that. I can think of one build in the works right now. (nudge, nudge, A.C.!)
  5. Thanks Scott! PM sent!
  6. This weekend in my travels I found batting helmets at a store called "Fivebelow". They had helmets for $5 each, with suitable padding for the inside of your buckets. The website with a store locator is here... ---------
  7. I would think that if you closed the sidegaps on the ab and kidney plates it would give your torso a more cylindrical (sp?) shape. Plus, it would put you one step closer to EIB if you wanted to go that route, since closed gaps are required. Congrats on the new build!
  8. It was there. A friend of mine would constantly refer to it as "the cologne wars"...
  9. So is the only difference between this and the TD the knee and ab plates (and dirt)? The proposed reqs even reference sandtroopers. Should we give consideration to heavier weapons that we see in some of the games? I think in the Battlefront games HWT's are carrying some kind of rocket launcher.
  10. No worries. I figured no bad comments is good news anyway!
  11. No, no... not an inconvenience at all. I just thought it was odd that there were no comments other that your thumb, Paul. Enjoy your vacation Terrell, and I'll look forward to your comments when you get back.
  12. Well? Did I finally pass muster? Is Terrell MIA? If not, the weather is supposed to be nice this weekend for photo shoot #4...
  13. I found them at the local Michael's arts & crafts store. i don't know if you have anything like that over on your side of the pond. They were in the section with keyrings.
  14. Congrats! I take it your wife didn't object?
  15. Ok, it will probably be tomorrow before they are redone.
  16. Ok guys, here are the updated pics. For submission I'm going to use my scratch-built E-11. It's got all the T-tracks, D-ring, scope, counter, stock, power cells, the works. Since I never heard back as to whether I need to re-shoot the armor pics with the shoulder straps and drop boxes repositioned (since they are just held in place with velcro), I'm going to go on the assumption that they're good. Let me know if I need to retake them.
  17. Your helmet lenses look very see-through. Have you thought about replacing them with something darker? Looks good!
  18. Looks good. The back seems cut rather high, but I don't think it's an issue. Nice job!
  19. I used something that came in a yellow box from my local shoe repair place. It did NOT work. After 5 coats I resorted to spraypaint. Even THAT didn't work on the elastic. White fabric paint was needed for that.
  20. Looks very nice! Are the ear screws in your helmet white or silver? It's hard to tell in the light. I don't know if it matters though. Also, your ab buttons look a bit big... Otherwise, excellent work!
  21. Woohoo! I'll drink to that!
  22. Not really. Believe it or not, my wife actually doesn't appreciate me rearranging the furniture and breaking out the suit and camera! (Especially several nights in a row...)
