  1. Looks like a flaw during bending, he bent the clip at wrong level making one longer which is covering the hole, I would contact seller for replacement. take photo of clips side by side they are totaly off. Mark (AP)
  2. for the biceps they are actualy bigger then the movie original, the proper way if they fit your biceps is to actually remove the raised edges on both sides then glue strips which will make them smaller this way the shoulder bells will sit better, if you look at the movie original the biceps have the same circumference as the forearms. Mark (AP)
  3. Templates work best when using a airbrush since paint comes out very thin so the edges will be nice and clean, when using a paintbrush paint will tend to bleed threw and get messy edges. Mark (AP)
  4. don't scrape paint off looks messy, its better to start from scratch, just remove using paint thinner and try until satisfied, practice makes perfect Mark (AP)
  5. I use Testors model paint thinner or also Varsol but paint will come off much easier with the paint thinner, DO NOT USE ACETONE, as for EASY OFF I wouldn't chance it, sometime its softens and eats into plastic. go less agressive with the paint thinner or varsol. Mark (AP)
  6. I don't think this will pass approval, i would remove paint and start over try free hand no stencil its actually better, TBH the decals looked much better and they had the painted on look for centurion approval, when painting the frown you need to paint only the space between the cutouts no above or below, the vocoder needs to be more defined in shape, check the movie photos as reference. Use Testors model paint thinner to remove paint, you will notice area will become a bit duller just use a soft cloth to buff shine right back DO NOT USE ACETONE! or any acetone base products like nail polish remover ect... this will instantly ruin ABS surface.
  7. For the forearms line up the front end. Mark
  8. Great job!!!! Mark (AP)
  9. Hey Jim No need to apologize, let me know if you need anything. Mark (AP)
  10. Jim For the thighs I would suggest you get a garter belt system so thighs are seperate from armor so when you walk it wont pull down on armor Garter belt system ideal for thighs https://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/29991-thigh-garter-system/ Mark (AP)
  11. Jim Just saw your thread and sent you a email, you can easily remove shoulder straps and reposition since I only use E6000 glue, worst case I can make you a set of extra long shoulder straps. BTW AP will not fit 6.4" I have a few customers who are 6.2" and it fit nicely, remember no two 6.2" person have the same proprotion some have longer torso some longer legs, long neck ect... so the fit will vary. 12. Great job so far! just realized this stunt helmet had only 6 holes cut out on frown. Mark (AP)
  13. Oh I see makes sense now. Mark (AP)
  14. Seperating the cod from AB plate is not movie accurate it should be one piece and doesn't improve any mobility if that was the main reason. Mark (AP)
  15. Paste will work but unfortunately the color will not match 100% even when using same exact plastic
  16. good luck! Anovos is a very creamy white (off white) color.
  17. This will be cool!!!!! Mark (AP)
  18. Thats so cool!!!!!
  19. The guy who makes the blasters for all my AP customers ships anywhere in the world, his blasters are top quality and much cheaper, you can see pics here
  20. Always stir very well model paints, being a experienced model kit builder/painter humbrol paints are usually pretty accurate and should really have a satin finish. I used both but prefer Testors 1139 Semi Gloss Black to apply with a brush. Mark (AP)
  21. Fantastic job! the only thing I would do is trim off the shoulder straps rear big tab, I added those as extention for larger people. Mark (AP)
  22. The easiest for me and I build quite a bit of these, I first glue all the cover strips on all the outer leg and arm parts let dry then glue in the inner parts using strong earth magnets to hold in place and also use tape in areas to avoid part from sliding around while glue sets, the right thigh is a bit more of a challenge because the raised lip is quite crooked, that is why I glue cover strip on the outer right thigh first, just align cover strip at top and bottom don't pay attention to the crooked raised lip which will be hidden by the cover strip. I have seen many people start by gluing both halves togheter by using a inner strip first then glue on the outside cover strip, I actually do the opposite which i find I have more control for adjustments.
