Can we PLEASE not get into that debate again? I am a face character in EVERY costume I currently do so maybe my perspective is different but this topic is taking that dangerous turn that the one on the Legion board did. We really don't want to go there. Bottom line, every Garrison is different. And sometimes there are different ways of doing things for certain events. Jeremy, trust me in that once you get your TK id and troop with your Garrison you will find your "character".

Sometimes we play "in character" sometimes we are more laid back. Yeah, That's Tony raising the roof.

I dig all of it. Simple and clean seems to feel less claustrophobic to me. On the other side, the ones done up with all the fans and padding and mic tip speakers are REALLY cool.

I have been on and off a ton today and yeah, it is bad. Even with the remember me on, I have to log in every single time I get on. It doesn't matter if it was five minutes or five hours. ninja edit- I have used Firefox and IE6 for this too.

I will have to remember to hit Tony with mine a few times on our next troop!

Here is a thought. If you wrap a blaster or any firearm up in a blanket or some other such way it is a concealed weapon. Around here, that will get you in more trouble then just having it laying on the back seat. I can't speak for overseas, but here in the U.S.A. it seems numbers and statistics can be manipulated to suit any purpose you want them too. So to me, they pretty much are meaningless. Nathan brings up an excellent point. Here is a great example: There were a few moms talking in one of my daughter's activities. They were discussing Christmas presents and what not, Halo 3 and other assorted "shooter" games were openly mentioned as being gifts, DVD's and toys being purchased were "shooting" and "battle" related. And of course, there have been conversations over time about such shows as CSI, Law and Order, 24, and Prison Break. When some one asked about the recent shootings, (and let's not forget we are still a bit moody about Virgina Tech) the quick answers were ban all the guns, people are so violent and crazy, and so on. My children, while are all about having fun and playing "SG-1, shoot the replicators" and other imagination games, they have also seen and heard first hand what my firearms actually do. Milk jugs of water and stuff are very impressive for that. My oldest has not yet been hunting with me but has been up close and personal with Bambi when we have come back home. Yet, they have friends that their only experience is shooting and getting shot in a video game. Reality is lost to them. Oh, and for what it is worth, until I am able to get a case long enough for my Hyper-Firm MG-42, it sits openly in the back seat. I have enough common sense that if I get pulled over, I will put the car in park, take out the keys, put both hands out the window with the keys.

That sucks that you have to deal with this kind of indeed, silly crap. The dude seriously needs to be smacked around like the lil bee-otch that he is. Messing with a cop has to qualify for a dum-bass of the year award right?

WOW! Awesome! And I have to say that to keep going after a problem just makes it that much cooler.

Well, I am chiming in here late but what the heck. The VD one is just a deal put together for the book. It was never screen used anywhere. The fella in Germany didn't do much good in making my buddy happy when he bought one and was very disappointed. The thing has pretty much fell apart. I will give him a call and see if I can get some pics of it to share. We have been talking about doing an ANH accurate version but have not actually gotten around to cranking one out. If there is an ANH accurate one available, let me know cause that has been the one HUGE thing that he has been wanting to finish up his 2nd set of armor.

Gotta love the thread revivals! Good one to. I had an Atari when I was a kid but I wasn't very good with it since the outdoors was always more appealing for me. Now that I have kids we have several consoles and one computer that can handle games and I will have to say that BF I & II are my favorites because my son and I can team up or go at each other for lots of fun on a rainy day. The KOTOR games were neat, it was my first real experience with that type of game.

That is a great point! I had a few guys that were just a little sad to see my ANH armor get roughed, painted and weathered to make it Dengar.

I know the ANH buckets that myself and the other guys in my Garrison have been using are ABS. I myself am still learning all the pros and cons of the different plastics but it seems that ABS is the most popular choice.

I had ordered a pair way back when I was going to do a TK/TD as my first costume but sent them back. So I have to ask, what smells worse, the Horse and Llama poop or the smell that comes out the boots when ya first get them? I am most likely going go ahead and get these since I don't think I want to go through painting the screenused boots.

Meh, I am kinda boring I reckon. Married, three little hoodlums in the house, and I currently stay at home with the little ones that don't go to school. My trade was electrical, mostly what I did was security, home theater, and network stuff. Worked at some pretty cool places over the years but now my big thing is kids Soccer and playing guitar in my church's worship band. It is amazing what a Jackson plugged in to a Mesa/Boogie half stack can do for getting folks on their feet.

This was actually the route I was thinking of taking myself. I have a buddy who has his FX armor and uses his ANH bucket with it until he finishes up his ANH armor. My Dengar is mostly ANH and so I already know that sadly ANH may just not be the right thing for my size. I admit I like the FX bucket more then some folks but it is big. I do think that the benefit of the FX is that you can load it up with anything and everything.
