    Even if you aren't an enlisted trooper in the 501st doesn't mean you shouldn't troop at the con. If your gear is ready you should totally still go, you might be able to get in contact with your garrison there. Best of luck finishing your gear for the event!

    I used dock cloth to make my canvas belt you might want to check out your local fabric store to see if they carry this and if so if they carry it in black, if you don't have any luck on the message board. Hope this helps.

    I'm doing the same thing Lou. All I have left is to get a second blaster (resin one) and paint it and get the helmet (waiting on my TE2) and finish it and paint it. After that I am going to be submitting pics for ESB elite! I was thinking of doing a ROTJ trooper but I have other costumes that need to be taken care of.

    Thats your problem you used super glue. I have always installed my mesh with hot glue and and have not had problems in any of my helmets. Hope this helps.
