The seller in the second link has 96% positive feedback. I would be careful if you are going to deal with that seller. Its hard to tell from the pics since they are so small. If you go TE2 later you will be extremely pleased. I understand about being on a budget, but if you can hold out a little longer while why not go with the actual makers of the helmets. Most helmets on ebay are recasts. Just food for thought.

Why not just buy directly from AP and get one of his flawed kits. You can't even tell there is any flaws in it. AP has high quality control. I think you would be much happier going that route in the long run.

I like them as well. I haven't cleaned my armor for over a year now. I think leaving the little scuff marks and scratches give the armor a more used/battle worn look. Great suggestion though Steve. If I decide to give my armor a bath I might have to try this out minus anything that has acetone in it.

Does your work have a dress code? Do you have to wear something special to work? And where do you work at? Just curious and I thought I would ask. I work for the State of California, Dept. of Education. I don't have too bad of a dress code since my specific unit doesn't deal with the public face to face. I usually wear slacks or jeans depending on what day or if there is a big meeting and some sort of collared shirt. Fridays are t-shirt days here. Any who feel free to share!
