  1. As Vader once said...."what do you mean?" And to reply to tk0084.... I am not insulting anyone, I even stressed that. I am not being petty. Its a valid observation. Does anyone have better pics of those armor parts? Maybe we an get in closer..
  2. Look how clean this is compared to the TE, Gino ROTJ armor. ------------
  3. You know.... I was just checking out the ROTJ armor on the other thread. I noticed how nice and sharp that pull was in comparison to the crap armor that TE and Gino started with. This makes me wonder if their armor molds are actually the product of an old recast. That would explain missing parts and being in parts as opposed to being glued together. Seriously. The chest plate doesnt even have shoulder strapping marks on it that I can see. Something to think about....I am really starting to think that they are recasted parts!!!! They show no signs of ever being assembled and I doubt they were ever screen used in ANY way. Oh my God.
  4. I just noticed how sharp of a pull this ROTJ armor is. This puts the Gino ROTJ molds to shame Can I see a shot of the upper back plate??
  5. true, true... Yeap. it has spawned a few more threads. Whats funny is they other threads have like 3 pages and have 3 times the info that this one does. Ok. So... I would like to know what happened on Matts side. The story that I have been able to come up with is that the ROTJ armor was bought on ebay. I saw this on SCgarrison.com. He has a small blurb about it there. There is alot of innaccurate info on that site, so its probably incorrect. What happened between the discovery of the armor and the GF thing? For now lets put aside the Gino part. We can get back to that later. Not to say that Gino cant be involved. Please feel free to tell us what you know about this part of the timeline if you know anything Gino. Matt, you were at least a part of the "obtaining" of the armor so........ Can you tell us? OR if anyone else out there knows, please offer up. Mr. Laws?????
  6. Blah, Blah, Blah, Blah, Blah, Blah, Blah, Blah, Blah, Blah, Blah, Blah, Blah, Blah, Blah, Blah, Blah, Blah, Blah, Blah, Blah, Blah, Blah, Blah, Blah, Blah, Blah, Blah, Blah, Blah, Blah, Blah, Blah, Blah........ You know this thread is NOT about settling the debate between you people. Its about the history of the armor. You guys pissed all over something that could have been so cool. Now you are showing everyone why they should NEVER purchase anything from you. Why cant you talk about the history?...... WHY? How come we havent had ANY progress since page 9? I used to think that at least, at some point you would get over this petty crap and divulge something for us all to see and enjoy. Now I am pretty sure that is never going to happen. At least Gino showed us a pic of his molds. Matt you are wimping out!!! Dan show us the goods man!! Please. I am begging you one last time. Please tell us how you came upon this stuff and show us pics! Why not??? What could it hurt? Honestly there is BETTER armor out there than Gino or TE armor now. I am not kidding. I have seen pics of better armor than yours. You dont have an advantage or edge to protect. I am not saying this to insult you. I am saying it because you REALLY do not need to be concerned about each other stealing anything, because you are not exclusive anymore. The thread is about what is and was great about the ROTJ recasted armor that has become TE, Gino, and AP. Can we keep it positive? Can you put aside your 5 year old selfishness and share with everyone what you guys went through when you found the armor and began working on it. TE, at least tell us how things went when you started the project. I really am not trying to be insulting although it may seem that way. I am getting very frustrated though. If you cannot talk about the beginnings (Matt?) then I am requesting that this thread be locked, because this is gettin' stupid...
  7. Simply that,..... Matt must be a fake! He doesnt have anything and is nothing more than a front counter man selling someone elses stuff. I am thinking that this whole TE thing is a big lie. Heck maybe even Gino has nothing more than a mold and a thin GF suit to show off. Hmmm???
  8. Paul, can you share with us what reference photos you used to make this awesome armor? Also would you be willing to show us you work area and current molds?
  9. I have a few questions... 1. It may seem rude but I gotta ask. How much did you pay for it??? Whats a suit like that worth now??/ 2. Can you post detailed pics of the inside strapping? 3. How is the belt attached? 4. what materials did they use for the belt 5. Where did you get the opportunity to own this bad an impolite person armor??? 6. What rubber trim is used for the neck of the helmet? 7. If I give you my email address will you take about 200 pics of this thing and burn it onto a CD for me and send it to me????? I will pay postage!! 8. Oh and are there any rivets on the bottom side of the chest plate and lower back like the ANH armors???
  10. I bet you dont have any pics of "Mikes" molds do you TE? Hey who does your vac forming anyway???
  11. Edgar would know He has the nicest job in disneyland!
  12. They dont have any pics. They probably dont even know how to vac form. They are just hood mantles for someone else. Thats why they never cough up any proof of ever having worked on anything. I think we are talking to the wrong guys. I bet Dave and Mike have all the proof and pics to show, but Gino and Matt musta had em killed off
  13. Then get GF to show the pics. I really dont care about the debate.... just wanna see pics PICS!

    ooooooooooooh slobber
  16. I am very thankful that Matt and Gino have offered up info that some or all us have been wanting to know. I think this is the first thread that has held together long enoough to actually be usefull. We have gotten quite far in the first 10 pages. Now comes the more personal questions to answer though. 1. Where did the ROTJ molds come from? Did you stumble onto them at a yard sale somewhere? Was there an insider who got them to you for only a few days and you had to return them? Did you take out a second on the house and pay hard cash for them. Did someone throw away what they did not know they had? Whaaa??? 2. When exaclty were the molds made? Lets get a nice timeline of Verson 1 and...... 3. Are there pics of the first completed suit?........Pics to show the progress. 4. Does anyone know how to get ahold of "Dave", "Mike", and "Gerardo" for their opinoins and what not? Does anyone have GF's person email? I used to have it because I stumbled onto his website once. PM me and I will send him an invite. Same goes for the others behind this armor Dave and Mike....They need to speak up as well. Dont let this thread die like 100 others before it. Lets get down to it and talk about what makes this armor soooooooooooo special. There's no sense in keeping anything a secret. I found the old page with Matts armor and ROTJ helmet on it.. http://www.angelfire.com/wi/Wilder/ROTJsuit.html After doing a bit of research, looks like GF got the C and D in 2000...... Here is John Pisa Relli: The attorney who helped GF get a settlement.... Here's a link to a complete build up of TE armor circa 2005 --------------- Gotta love google man!!!
  17. I think we kinda get the path, but we need more history
  18. Looks great. The thinner material brought out alot more detail!

Awe man I was just messin with TE. I love Jez site Hey Matt, have you ever given anything away?
  20. I purchased my set or RT-Mod armor after doing extensive research on Jez site back in 2005. I really wanted something somewhat accurate and tough for trooping and the RT-Mod delivered. I asked Rob to assemble my helmet and I would do the rest. When my box arrived it was so neatly packed and so glossy and nice. It looked like it came from a professional company. The armor itself is a milky white .093 gage armor. Its quite possibly the thickest, toughest armor out there. It looses a bit of detail because its so thick, but for trooping it was great. I wore my armor for a year and sold it for some AP. When I opened the AP box and saw how thin the armor was in comparison, I was like wha?? Rob is a great guy and has no ego. I have heard that 1/2 the Canadian garrison is wearing his armor. Thats cool. I am not sure when Rob began making his armor. His website is hit or miss on the pics for his armor. If you know anything about his armor and have facts and cool things to share please do. I am going to invite RT-MOD to join the discussion. Hopefully he will tell us how it began for him. Here is a pic of me in my armor. Its one of my favorites.
  21. Well, I cant resist. I love Pauls armor. I wish I had a set. I know that there are several people who would love to hear what Paul has to say about his great armor and how it came about. I do know this much. The TM armor project was started in 1999 and over the course of the next 7 years, TM has made a wonderful set of great looking armor. There is a yahoo site with all his pictures of the development on it as proof that this guy has done ALL the work. In my opinion, nothing even comes close. So lets kick er' off. What do you say?
