Please plan on a FISD CE photo post Legion photo, our CIV photo was a bit hasty due to the Legion photo location, but in the end it worked out well. So, please plan on a TK Detachment photo after the Legion photo with Steve carrying the FISD banner flag. I wish I could join you all at CE.

Another option, a white plastic paint can (the big ones)

Try hot glueing some foam at the bottom of the shin armor (on both sides) so it stays put around your ankle.

That armor looks terrible on you, let me take it off your hands. So how about the sides and TD? Assuming you got a neck seal under that bucket too right boss?

Steve, Pleasure to meet you as well and thank you for the assistance in the armor panel. I'm sure the attendees appreciated a live visual example especially, someone everyone in the room could see. I'll ask Cap Jones about the scoresheet and post once I have it.

Check plate improvement: the front chest plate comes in too far from the arm pits. I would extend the chest plate outwards so the opening isn't so large between front and back plate and the armpit area.

Actually I'm also on an FX kit, butt/kidney plate as well. My mix will be with helmet once my RT-mod arrives. Let me see if I have any side pics as reference.

Yeah, my report via b-berry. Had some issues yesterday viewing the forum. Friday evening report: - celebration kick off with Steve Sansweet - USC marching band and 24 tk's recreated the flag march from the rosa parade. This was very special for me personally as I was able to march last night (didn't make the rose bowl cut). 6k people going bananas, it was really cool. I was smiling ear to ear in my bucket - tribute to star wars actors who are no longer with us, very touching - recreation of the 1 year star wars cake 77-78 that was shared with EVERYONE! - a flying boat fett, yes that's right - unveiling of the yoda stamp - previews for the week - oh and a belling dancing slave leia Saturday (so far) - trooper olympics, team GGG brought home the gold (great effort by all teams on a tough course) - trooping, panels and lots of pics. Even ran into three cyclon centerrions - oh and Star Wars family guy episode preview, one hour in length More tomorrow

Status update since there won't be any work this week and next with CIV. The side gaps solution appears to work. The real test will be on Sunday (Bay to Breakers) and CIV. Gorilla glue seems to be the solution for clips to ABS. The bond is pretty amazing. Blaster, thanks to Bernard for the tip, I have an ANH E-11 with counter on its way. And as for the helmet, I'm giving RT a try that should arrive in June sometime. Post CIV I will complete the shoulder strap mod (replacing my rivet holed ones) and await packages in the mail.

Mike TK1536 used Gorilla glue which I picked up today at Target (close to home). I'm going to give that a try this evening and see if that works. If its doesn't I'll give the E6K or Epoxy a try. Scott, good idea about the holes. I'm almost thinking I should rivet the darn thing, but I'm worried I'll lose strength in the bankers clips when I try to bend them back into shape.

Hi everyone, So in an effort to make my FX (shudder), I've been working on deployment mods. However, I'm having trouble with the TD. I used a version of super Glue to hold the clips to the ABS TD, but the glue does not hold. Once the glue tries it appears to make a strong bond. However, when I try to slip the clips onto my belt, they break contact with the TD and fall off. Any recommendations for a glue that will bond the metal to the ABS plastic of the TD?

And getting back on topic.. Side gaps, made out of my old thighs: Small problem, while drilling out the rivet from the thigh ammo pack, I overheated the ABS and the rivet pulled straight through... Easily fixed with a larger rivet (one more trip to the hardware store).
