  1. I'm sorry if this has been addressed, I've looked around quite a bit. I'm trying to paint my Hasbro + Resin kit blaster. I've sanded it, primered it and applied 2 coats of Krylon flat black. One problem, the damn paint keeps bubbling up in a couple places. -the folding stock and the barrel of the gun. I've resanded it and reprimered the places, but then paint keeps bubbling up in other places that the sanding roughed up.... I'm stating to think that I should quit whilst I'm only slightly behind. Anyone have any ideas? Thank you.
  2. Where did you find the knee pads? I've looked online... funny thing is that all of the ones that I would like to use (like D-MAC's) are located in the UK. I could of course order these online.
  3. Do you have any pics of the inside of your bucket?
  4. I installed mine the exact same way. I think, you could cut the fabric strap that restricts your head from going further into the helmet and sew a another inch or so to allow for your head to go further into the helmet. The only problem is that if you head go in too much further, you may not be able to see!
  5. Thank you so much!!@!!!! These have been so helpful! I'm eagerly awaiting episode 12 though. Do you have an ETA? THANK YOU!
  6. I was just over on TK409's site and my rivets look like the ones that he's posted so I think that I'm on the right track. Thanks so much.
  7. Hi guys, it's my first post. I just bought my first FX armor and I'm going to start building it tomorrow. I think that I'm going to go with the rivets, but I have a question. I've purchased the rivet gun and the 1/8th inch short white rivets. I've riveted a few things to see how they look before I rivet the armor. Here's my question, the outside (viewable side) of the rivet is flush and looks like it's meant to -nice. However, on the inside, the rivets aren't flush with ABS at all. -It holds very tight, but it looks like a knobby knot that sticks out about a 1/4 inch. IS THIS NORMAL? I don't know if I'm doing it right. The only other thing that I've ever riveted was on my motorcycle and it looks the same. (It's had held for 6 years though). THANKS!!! P.S. I'm nervous as hell about starting the armor. Your tip are incredibly appreciated.
