  1. The Sith Lord detachment could be of help: http://forum.501stsithlords.com/ But be aware a full Vader costs $3000+
  2. If I was sarcastic, I'd say try RS but am not sarcastic and I'm NOT saying RS
  3. But "Mr No Stripes" is seen MORE often :p
  4. I guess it comes down to a "Trooping armor" (like the current CRL) and "replicated set armor". But this would be a never ending discussion; e.g.: the two snapsin the crotch; never seen on screen, yet you need them for centurion.
  5. +1
  6. LOL "Mr Jelly Legs"
  7. Indeed! And they're as huge as pizza plates!
  8. I'm sure someone will drop the words "idealized" "on screen" "meant to be" "the majority" etc. But if that were true, flaky, paint chipping hand guards wouldn't be allowed. too I'm just pro "no stripes"
  9. I just talked to a friend who works in the movie busines (Assistent Director). If there's a rather large crowed of people, they're not referred to by name, but by adistinctve feature on their costume. AD: "For the next scene, Sleepy Eye and No-stripes".
  10. I'm starting to think they didn't put on the stripes on PURPOSE, to easily find the special stunt trooper among the others.
  11. He really does get a lot of screen time! Too bad he isn't 501st approved.
  12. Latex would be possibly, since they used it for the hand guards Some with plaster bucks could easily apply a skin of latex onto the bucks. Put the tigh mold into a box, fill it up with latex, and wait for an hour. Pour the latex back into the container, and voila, your have a 2 mm skin of latex on the buck. Before anyone asks: I won't do it, because I don't want to sculpt thigh armor and recast those parts is out of the question.
  13. Ah, there's the pic of the wobbly thighs again! It looks like they're made outof a soft material like vinyl of pleather. So I agree with your theory that this is a "stunt" stunt armor.
  14. I agree with Mathias and Stephen.
  17. Thanks everybody! About the sig, I grew tired writing the same stuff every week
  18. Bon voyage! You both sure earned it!
  19. Nice build and it fits you well. But the hand guards look very thin; did you trim them so?
