Hi buddy...many thanks for yr feedback. I’m aware the side gaps could be a little smaller but unfortunately at the minute I’m a little ‘chunky’ [emoji23] I do need to make smaller straps and take some more pics...but I am working on it. I hadn’t submitted pics of the thigh pack or sniper plate as I thought these weren’t required until Centurion application? I do have them on my phone ready should they be asked for. I lined my lid in black EVA foam sheets then used cut up car sponges and covered those in foam for the padding then added a colour coded Troopacoola fan system. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I think I will take yr advice (and Dans) and paint it black just to be on the safe side before I submit it for clearance. Ok...all put together now and I’m really happy with it. It’s not perfect up close but I never expected that and I’m sure it will be good enough for trooping. Just one thing Dan pointed out to me...the D ring...do I need to paint that black for clearance or can I get away with it? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
