  1. Drum room sacrificed for somewhere to build my E11 and eventually my armour. Did manage to trim and sand a few bits down last night, looking forward to getting stuck in again tonight. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. Well thanks to the nature of my job and only just getting home absolutely shattered I doubt I’ll have much time after a shower and food to do much on the build tonight. Hopefully get some of the pieces sanded and prepped ready to start on them tomorrow. Fingers crossed... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. Good video Chris! Don’t think you’ll have any trouble selling those. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. Thanks Jesse, I think I’ve got all that together now, been acquiring tools etc over the last few weeks. I inboxed the kit last night and washed the pieces in hot soapy water...hopefully start tonight with the trimming and sanding. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. Well Chris u certainly did a fantastic job there! They look amazing! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. So, finally my SBB arrived in the post today [emoji4]. After weeks of looking through other members builds and seeing this kit dozens of times it feels really weird (in a good way) to actually have one here in my hands! As it’s my first ever attempt at anything like this I’m not going to try get clever or ambitious ...in fact, if it turns out half as good as the blasters u guys have constructed I’ll be very happy! Using Tino’s finishing kit with the Doopys resin kit and a lot of the ideas I’ll be taking on board from previous builds I’m hoping to end up with a half decent E11 that I’ll eventually be able to troop with. Any advice, creative criticism and encouragement will be most welcome! Thanks, Wayne [emoji106] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. Thanks Chris...never worked with resin before and my kit hasn’t arrived yet so I haven’t any experience yet [emoji106] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Quick question Chris...when you’ve chopped the scope down how do u clamp the smaller parts for drilling without them collapsing? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. Looking forward to this! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. Looks like my Doopys kit will be arriving this week...had an email today to say it’s been dispatched [emoji4] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. Good shout Dan...been looking for Tino’s build thread! Just spent the last hour or so reading through it...I have no words! I’m totally dumbfounded at the level of detail and quality of work throughout...totally inspirational and educational...[emoji41] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. Good shout Dan...been trying to find this thread (still haven’t worked this forum out yet [emoji85][emoji23]) that’s my next hr or so checking Tino’s construction. Absolutely loving some of these builds...can’t wait to get started now! [emoji1591] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. Absolutely! I’m nervous but looking forward to getting started! I was reading through yr WIP earlier and saw what happened to the scope..u did a great job rectifying it..nice work [emoji106] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. Nice one, appreciate yr offer. I’ve been looking through a number of build threads this afternoon and apart from the lack of any DIY skills whatsoever, I think one of my biggest challenges will be to take my time and try not to rush any of the stages. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. Cheers Dan, appreciate the shout. Just poring over the getting started thread to hopefully avoid asking any other totally bone questions [emoji23] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. Doh! First noob error! Thanks...I had given the ‘getting started’ thread a look over but obviously that bit hadn’t sunk in [emoji849]
  17. Ok, so the waiting game begins. Doopys kit ordered along with T-Jays finishing kit (already shipped...the guy is a legend!) My first ever attempt at any kind of build other than Airfix kits or Lego! Might be in way over my head here! [emoji85][emoji23]. Anyway, my first question is, other than the dremel and accessories, what else will I need in order to build the blaster? Might as well get it all together while I’m waiting for the kits to be delivered. Thanks! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. Hi T-Jay...I’m looking to order a Doopys E11 kit after my holiday next week and was wondering what the availability and price of one of yr finishing kits would be please?

    Many thanks,

Hi Wayne, thanks for contacting me. Will send you a PM for the details. Cheers :)

  19. Thanks for the info about the varying sizes and about yr experience with the 40mm PVC pipe...I’ll bear all this in mind. Did u give up on the pipe build after that?
  20. Hi guys...I’m looking at my first blaster build and want to go down the pipe route rather than the full Doopys kit. I’ve been researching for a while now and thought I was ready to start gathering the various parts I needed to get started, until....I read a thread stating the use of 38.1mm pipe rather than the 40mm I thought was the standard? Clearly I need to research some more but have a few questions. Firstly which diameter pipe do the Doopys parts and Tino’s finishing kit fit? I have seen that other parts are available from other members too, but again, I’m unsure whether these are suitable for a pipe build or just a Doopys full kit? It’s my first build but I want to make it fairly accurate with a view to another in future with sound/light etc once I’ve got the hang of it. Any help is appreciated...please forgive me if this seems a dumb enquiry but I’m a total noob! Please be gentle:)
