  1. Robert Rabey 69103 EIB Letter Dan Thank you! http://www.whitearmor.net/eib/certificates/69103-eib.png
  2. Thanks Dan!! I’ll make all the suggested changes before applying to L3. Rob
  3. 1: Robert Rabey 2: TK 69103 3: FISD forum name: Twosolitudes 4: Canadian Garrison 5: Armour: Authentic Props 6: Helmet: Authentic Props 7: Belt: Authentic Props 8: E-11 QuestDesign Canada 9: Neck seal: Darman’s Props 10: Boots: Imperial Boots 11: “S” seal: Trooper Bay Height: 5’10” Weight: 175 lbs Build thread: Pre-approval: Thank you for your time and consideration! Please se let me know if I’ve missed anything. Rob
  4. As to how fitted, I’m not sure how IB does theirs; Darman’s Props tell the buyers that they want the exact measurement of the neck, and not to add anything, and they will ensure the fitting has a little extra.
  5. I think the “S” and “U” are referring to the helmet opening seal, which is different from the neck seal. You’ll want the “S” for L3/Centurion. Imperial Boots stuff should be good for L3. My neck seal was from Darman Props, and my helmet “S” seal was from Trooper Bay.
  6. Might be better to fix it now, rather than have is bother you later.
  7. Definitely! I’ll be submitting for EIB this weekend. I just need to make a few adjustments.
  8. When I started the process of building my ANH Stunt TK I regretted not spending the extra to get the kit fully trimmed up front, or even fully built; however, nearing the completion of the build I found myself becoming more than a little nostalgic for this part of the journey that was ending. I’ll have to relive the journey vicariously by following other trooper’s new builds, because my wife will kill me if I attempt to start another. Shout Outs: - Thanks again to the following troopers for being welcoming, supportive and providing great threads to learn from: Willeywonka, Wook1138, Neb Sgird, gmrhodes13, TheSwede, Lucnak, Hollowbodies, FencingCorvetteTrooper, CableGuy, Pretzel, CoatHanger, JenEcho, Suspend, ABS80, Ukswrath, Commander Gree, Thumpy, Magni, Sgt Garand, Frank75139, Tolo, TK-34288, 68Brick, Zarlon, Steaditrooper, Shanester, Ninjamove, jethroskull, Pyrates. 9. TK 69103 requesting access. https://www.501st.com/members/displaymemberdetails.php?userID=28431 Thanks!
  10. Build looks really nice! Only thing that stood out to me Is that you’ll need to move your drop boxes over to line up with the edges of the ABS belt. From the CRL: • The drop boxes dangle from the sides of the front plastic belt (ammo belt) via white straps and are aligned under the plastic tabs of the ammo belt.
  11. Thanks for the feedback, it’s appreciated. I submitted already via the Canadian garrisons webpage and emailed the GMLs, now just waiting to hear back from them.
  12. Back of the calves are fixed Trimmed the front return edges off of the thighs... much nicer! and a pic “sans bucket” I’ve also trimmed the large tab off the back of the bridges and then shaped them with some hot water to get them to rest closer to the back plate (sorry, no pic). Going to work on the shoulder bells some more to close the gap between them and the chest plate.
  13. I don’t think they would make approvals in person, but even if they did, I’d think submitting photos on the pre-approval thread would be the better way to go; it would give you the chance to get feedback and make any adjustments that might be necessary.
  14. Nice! Looking forward to that myself. You should sound off in the Newly Approved members threads. Am I correct in guessing that’s a significant date in 1987?
  15. It is! Looking forward to getting out to a troop sometime. Congrats on getting the TK designation! Do you have your number?
  16. Thanks Daniel! Yeah, I've been wrestling with that shoulder bell... I'll get it eventually.
