  1. And sharpie is lots of different solvents like isopropanol. You need an alcohol based solvent to remove sharpie, so I'd enjoy it just like it is.
  2. The sharpie will bleed through anything that you spray on, so just keep it out of the sun. Dust with a damp soft cloth. I would research before I wrapped it in anything. I believe cling wrap is vinyl.
  3. Photobucket taught me a valuable lesson about trust.
  4. I'm strongly considering making this one, if only to meet some certain people in person.
  5. Thanks guys! But this thread is a bit awkward. The whole FISD and every one of its active loyal members are appreciated. Some of us have been here for the duration. Some of us post tutorials and spend mass amounts of time uploading, while others are out in the field recruiting and trooping hardcore. So many of us deserve recognition. I'd also like to give special mention to @Tolo and @Sly11 . Hate to see one go, but another good one is taking his place.
  6. You UK guys can hit me up for E600. I'll peel the label off and call it something else.
  7. My favorite is Devcon plastic epoxy. It's great for quick gluing. It fills gaps and sands nicely. It's what I use for ABS. The only down-side is it can discolor plastic if it doesn't get sealed good. There is also a product called Plastic Welder at Ace Hardware. I have built 15+ stormtroopers with it. So far the easiest, cleanest method I have used is CA glue. I guess it depends on if the plastic is getting painted afterwords or not.
  8. My point is, there are more that a few ways to skin a ewok. Every plastic has its corresponding adhesive. I'm not about to argue over glue. I've got more in it than your 10 years, btw;)
  9. Like asking what kind of fruit to use for a fruit pie; It depends on what you have to work with. Here is a fun and accurate glue guide that I found - http://www.scalemodelguide.com/construction/materials/learn-glue/
  10. I used to do business here on my honor and yours. It saved you international guys a lot of money and your coins made it through customs in a discrete, flat mailer. Sorry, but I can't do flat rate any more. Without proof of delivery there is no seller protection in paypal . In light of several members purchasing flat rate and then filing paypal disputes, I am no longer shipping flat mailers without tracking. I realize what this means for international troopers getting one or two coins, but you may thank the new LCS for this new policy, as they were the ones that urged members to file unwarranted paypal disputes against me. Coins are $8 + $15 international shipping for up to 5 coins. Patches are $4 + $15 international shipping for up to 10 patches. Paypal fees and mailing supplies are included. I'm sorry for the drastic hike in price, but it's out of my hands.
  11. I'm feeling the love! It's been a pleasure serving you. (most of you) I've had lots of emails from members in support of me. People are just too afraid to get involved. I can't say I blame them; The new sheriff shoots first. It also looks like the deputies are in charge of this one and are calling the shots for him. I also want to mention Mrs.tk4205. I lost count of the sandwiches she has made for troopers at events. Cookies too. The old timers can tell you about bantha patties. The Mrs. took food to almost every major event our garrison did for many years. Few people know that these days, as so many of our old-timers have been ousted. I myself have only trooped once or twice a year for the last couple of years due to the unwelcome feeling we get from our CO and his little group of noobs. We'll see what happens this year, but there is always next year to look foreword to. I'm not going to let a few egomaniacs turn me off of what I love. I've been through a few bad commanders in my years and I always seem to outlast them. I've gone up against worse too. You guys are worth fighting the good fight for.
  12. I decided that $12 wasn't worth my time. I refunded him and here is what I said to him in paypal: I am issuing you a refund. The measly $12 is not worth my time. You accepted merchandise and gift and you received it on 3/16/18 , per USPS tracking 9114901496451620826149 I did not perpetrate fraud on you or anyone else, nor is there any evidence supporting your accusation. You have either been duped or you have knowingly taken part in attacking me through my paypal account on behalf of other legion members. That my friend is the true fraud and you are the one committing it. - wyatt stephens, Monday, April 23, 2018 at 5:48:54 PM
  13. Thank you, Steve, for allowing my self moderation. Sorry, it was in the heat of the moment. To have this happen to me after all I have given to you all... It seems vulgarity would be the least of concern and I hope you came away from this post with more than that. I'm about ready to head off to ebay where I have some form of protection.
  14. Now I know why they wanted my customer list. LOL! what losers.
  15. He filed a month later. I wonder if Bryon himself asked him to, or if it was Jeremy. what a (edit) to do that. YOUR LCS ASKING YOU TO LIE!
  16. Brendon Prout tried to order an EIB coin but we were all sold out. We offered whim a regular coin and patches or a refund. He accepted the regular coin and patches and they were sent on march 14. Tracking shows that they were delivered USPS # 9114901496451620826149. (status delivered 3/16) He got his stuff and then filed a paypal dispute. Here is what he told paypal; FISD EIB Gold challenge coin not received. I was originally willing to let this go, but in light of the fraud perpetrated by Wyatt on on other 501st club members who didn't receive what they ordered, I want a refund. - Brendan Prout, Monday, April 23, 2018 at 1:06:15 PM Brendon is a (edit), liar and thief. Do business with him at your own risk.

  19. Yes. The reply amounted to "No", only less polite.

The answer is indeed zero. A lot of innocent people died but none of them were actually witches. But since Harbinger is extended staff, he doesn't get to play. So email me your address and I'll send you his patch.

What is your first and last. I check by your first name. It could have been someone elses order. FISDmerch@centurytel.net does not work any more. If I were you I would request the payment back.

Next contest: First person to post the right answer gets an FISD classic patch. Question: How many witches died during the Salem Witch Trials?
  23. I'm not at my post because I got canned. I'm not sure why I asked for an appeal. You have to have a hearing before you get to appeal. In other words, we skipped the drowning and went directly to burning at the stake.
