    OMG I'm so sorry I missed this question! Better late than never! I used 2 part epoxy. This is what I used. Industrial strength. You can find similar ones in any decent hardware store.     JT reading through your FOTK build.  I will be getting my Imperial Surplus kit soon.  I am going to try an get a body shop to paint it.  Sounds like you did that.  Question is, I notice you put your grebblies/clips on prior to painting.  I've seen other wait and glue after painting.  What are your thougths?  Thanks again, Russ

      Sorry I missed your question! Somehow I didn't get any notifications, and it's only when I was browsing that I found this. I glued it on before painting so that the surfaces will be glued plastic to plastic, and not paint layer to paint layer. Gets a better bond.

    Before you cut, I would suggest you test fit the spat around the shins first. You don’t want to end up cutting too much, and the spats cannot wrap around the shin. I also fixed the greeblie part and used magnets for the inner side. Do take a look at my build thread if you want.

Yes, I believe in giving back to the community, after having received such fine advice from those that have come before me!
