  1. Dismantle helmet: I previously use hot glue to stick some foam. I use cold ice to freeze the hot glue residue. Wash the helmet with water and soap. Found cracks at 2 places. These were previously hidden by S trim. Will reinforce this area. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  7. Install the new bigger mesh. Dap superglue sparingly to the edge. Reinstall hovi mic to bucket. Looks better right? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Yes, this what I mention before. BTW, the lenses from old spectacle or you order new? awkward to order new lenses from optician without frame.
  9. I dont wear eye glass during troop. I can see near object fine. Far away object bit blurry though. I did saw some one attaching his spectacles lenses directly to his inside visor. Cant remember how, probably with hot glue.
  10. Remove masking tape. Apply new masking tape. This time leave some gap on the tip. Spray some white paint on flat surface. Dip the hovi mic tip on the wet paint. You will get the fine thin white ring on the tip. Remove masking tape after paint dried. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. I remove the mesh after i am happy with the fit. Apply masking tape to outside of the hovi mic. Spray paint the inside with gloss white paint. Wait paint to dry. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. Hovi Mic accuracy update: Trial fit the new mesh. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. Ok, now with superglue. Now waiting it to dry. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. Hovi Mic Accuracy update: From CRL pictures, the hovi mic screen each mesh size approximately 2mm. The internal diameter of the hovi mic tip is 16mm. I found marker pen body have 15mm++ outer diameter. Will use it to shape the mesh. Found a small sieve that have suitable mesh. Take out from the frame. Flatten it out. Hard to keep the molded mesh shape after trimming to size. Tried using E600 and got this big gunk at the end. Will look into other method. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. Thank you Tino for the suggestion. Your kit is one of the recommended upgrade in FISD. Regarding the painting, appriciate the link. Will read it all up. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  17. I am starting my build to have my own E-11. No stormtrooper is complete without their E-11 blaster. Due to restriction in importing weapon look alike item into my country, i went with a Doopydoos E-11 resin full kit. Less risk for it to be confiscated by customs etc. Doing a build thread so I can compile my research and findings while waiting for the kit to arrive. Reference build thread: 1. Themaninthesuitcase 2. T-Jay 3. DM101 3. Painting the Doopydoos E-11 Upgrade parts: Below are my wish list for better looking E-11 1. T-Jay Completion Sets for E-11 2.
