FOTK Voice alteration for more accurate sound..
BrinkHouse replied to Dekard's topic in TFA Stormtrooper
Hey Tony -- sorry for the delayed response here. Thinking about it. Biggest issue right now is that I don't have a device to test on. Trying to figure that out and if so I can start testing/seeing if it's viable. -
Little video of these buckets in action. http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/heat-vision/star-wars-stormtrooper-helmet-sale-924818 Takeaways- - ABS plastic. NICE! - Polished - Tube stripes and vents properly indented and painted - Eyebrow trim and other black areas are cast in rubber soft touch material with the ABS mould, not two pieces - Ala EFX, lenses are cheap and see through - Voice changer button seems to be hidden in right ear stripe or maybe one of the screws is a button? - $79 w/ preorders Friday.

Best TK chatter for helmet.
BrinkHouse replied to RLH2515's topic in Electronics for Helmets / Blasters
I'll shamelessly plug my iOS app TrooperTalk, which offers both real time voice emulation, as well as background trooper chatter for multiple different trooper characters. All with a customizable interface. Here's a link to the development thread here- http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/34939-troopertalk-voice-changer-w-static-burst-app-dev/page-1 And here's a direct link to the app on the App Store- https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/troopertalk/id1118522062?mt=8 Happy trooping! -
My app TrooperTalk will be available shortly as well, save yourself some money over an iComm and get a lot more customization in the process!

Wireless Microphone Headset
BrinkHouse replied to Uncle's topic in Electronics for Helmets / Blasters
I'm going to pick one of these up to test with my app Trooper Talk. Would definitely clean things up a bit. Can anyone who owns one attest to whether it is an omni directional or uni-directional mic? -

We have rescheduled the shoot for APRIL 30TH!

Hey guys! I'm shooting a short film called "JAKKU: FIRST WAVE' in Los Angeles on **APRIL 30TH**! This film is all about the troopers, putting them at the center of the story. We have three actors, one of which will wear my armor, but we are still in need of two sets of TK armor for our other actors. If you are interested in having your armor featured and getting to be on set of this great story, please shoot me a message! Pay is $100 and the day will probably be 10-12 hours (don't worry, we are shooting in an air conditioned sound stage. ) Our actors are 5'8- 5'10, slim/standard body types, ideally you'd also fit that description for ease of fitment. The film takes place inside the belly of an AT-AT, the troopers are just standing having a conversation, so no risk of armor being damaged. Below is the summary-- "“Jakku: First Wave” is a short film that takes place in the rear of an Imperial Walker moments before the doors open onto the battle of Jakku. The story follows three Stormtroopers caught up in conversation while cramped, sweaty and nervous before battle. The script and dialog is inspired by the real life stories of US Marines staged and waiting for an assault to begin. The goal of “Jakku: First Wave” is to honor the Imperial soldiers who lost their lives on Jakku by pulling the curtain back a little on one of Star Wars’ most beloved but mysterious groups of characters in a raw and imaginative way. Construction has already begun on the interior of the AT-AT Walker. We already have one 501st TK on board who will be providing his armor to one of our three cast members, but we’re still in need of two more TK armors. The film is slated to shoot on **APRIL 30TH** in Burbank CA."Jakku: First Wave" was written and will be directed by Benjamin Eck of Los Angeles, CA and Cinematographer Andrew Brinkhaus will lens the film. The film is expected to have a total run time of 4-5 minutes." If you are interested in coming on board to help us, just shoot me a message here, or email me at [email protected] and I'll pass your info to the director. Thanks so much!
