  1. Post cuts and dry fit with the ab
  2. And less beer[emoji19] lol
  3. Yes, it helps - I have a physically demanding job - most of my weight loss comes from cutting out the bad stuff in the diet.
  4. Progress continues! During my build I neglected to put abs backing to the connection sides on the kidney and ab. Time to correct that and get these bad boys together again with the 1mm rubber matting, rivets and snaps.
  5. Stellar work mate - you're looking frosty!
  6. Depending on the amount of glue yes - I have removed a ton using the freezer. During my build one cap dried slightly crooked, and after freezing I twisted it off with medium effort.
  7. GIT'R'DONE!!! Come on brother almost there[emoji38][emoji38][emoji38][emoji38]
  8. I smell a new TK ID in the air
  9. Have an awesome time Ambassador and see you when you return. Catch some legend fish my friend, and I want to see pics!
  10. That's exactly what I'm doing mate! - Fist bump Kris!
  11. Cheers my friend [emoji23][emoji106]!
  12. The notches still need some TK TLC with some paste, filing, and sanding to replicate return edges again.
  13. Saturday Night and time to get those TK fists rocking in the air [emoji106][emoji38] https://youtu.be/DnUmMVO8rW0 Going over my armor and reference photos last night I spotted a couple other corrections that need to be done and revised my list. Moving forward - more progress on the kidney! I removed the rest of the fasteners that secure the kidney to the ab, and began to pencil in my new measurements with a new 22mm X 22mm notch on both sides. I gotta get a move on too as I have a troop next weekend!
  14. Thanks Clint! I'm, hopefully, going to be needing this thread for more than just enjoyable reading soon [emoji106][emoji38]
  15. First removing the rivets so that I can take off the extra abs from the kidney extensions. I used a pair of wire side cutters to fold the tails back to the center.
  16. Here we go!: The Kidney Plate Checklist: "For 501st approval: - A separate kidney plate is present, split from the posterior armor. [emoji736] For level two certification (if applicable): N/A For level three certification (if applicable): -Squared cut-out sections at the lower left and right corners of the Kidney Armor. The cut out is roughly 22 mm tall from the bottom and 22 mm in from the side. -Three rivets, approximately 5/16"(8mm) diameter, are present on the left side of the kidney plate. Note: The original rivets used for the TK armor were bifurcated rivets or split rivets. -Rivets are equally spaced along the depth of the armor and about 10mm from the edge. The heads are rounded or domed. Note: Paperclip brads are not considered to have a domed head. -Rivets are painted white. Here is the link for the rivets I'm using: Centurion Level Rivet sets For Sale. https://r.tapatalk.com/shareLink?url=http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/index.php?/topic/34902-Centurion-Level-Rivet-sets-For-Sale%2E&share_tid=34902&share_fid=44557&share_type=t Photo reference pics:
