  2. Awesome Matt! There was a German trooper that built one all out of wood it was spot on I'm going to try and emulate that as best I can. Good luck! throw on some pics when you're done man!
  3. This is what scares me too. I won't need to mod too much but I'm worried about obvious gaps between the back and kidney and chest and cod. I'm 6'2"-3" 150 lbs, build like a string bean...
  4. OMG. That is way too cool. I need to find the CNC files for this stuff and I can do most of the work at my Plant

  10. http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/33061-hovi-mic-tips/#entry428525 I ended up buying this kit it looks like hovi resin casts will this be acceptable later on for L2-3 certifications? I want to buy within the detatchment but theres next to no canadian sellers I can find and the US and European guys are charging in their native currencies. As you know our dollar isn't doing great... lol

  13. I just bought this kit of hovi tips from starwarfans1138 See attached files. Are these acceptable if I do some work on them to get up to centurion? If so what needs to be done?
  14. Welcome! I think all of us new guys are in the same boat! The FISD staff are extremely accommodating and helpful. In my experience so far they've put up with my relentless questions and have only been kind and patient in return. I think you'll enjoy the same experience man. If you need a hand just reach out and ask and I think you'll be happy with the response, we're all in this together! Also don't be afraid to roll up your sleeve and lurk the forums for research help it goes a long way. In addition if you need extras there's a bunch of nice folks selling their expertly crafted wares Dday is combined on-going listing is a real treat http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/20869-combined-on-going-accessories-listing/, and this forum is a life saver http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/forum/4-assembly-mods-and-painting/. Good Luck and Godspeed!
  15. I apologize for the relentless onslaught of questions... However I really would like to do as much DIY as possible, I'm fairly handy and my background is in the arts so I think I can manage. This is a labour of love and I want to give my all to the build. Anyway does any one know where I could find info/tutorials on building nice mic tips? Thanks,
  16. Exact same email I got
  17. I'm in the same boat man. I ordered my set from AP yesterday I hope I can make it work for me. 6'3" 145lbs... I'm a beanstalk lol

  20. We can cross the neck seal off the List... THanks NikkiMat great deal!
  21. I should probably print out the CRLs for both and compare eh?
  22. Hey there, I had a quick question is there any threads pertaining to any resources or information in which it explains the processes of modding the Authentic Props ANH-S kit to a ESB trooper? I may be treading on thin ice here but Empire was my favourite of the Original Trilogy, and having a Stormy kit that echos that sentiment would make me happy lol. Thanks,
  23. I got an email saying they were backed up again. so after October its going to be an additional 60-80 days. I lucked out and found the perfect boots at a thrift shop they're a bit too small but I can stretch them I think.
  24. I'm Hoping to get a pair too.
