  1. Do you have any photo's of this setup? Perhaps a report of how you installed it?
  2. Does anyone have a schematic for how you wired lights and possibly sounds into your F11? I'm working on assembling one of the 3D models available here (http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/32544-free-tfa-f-11d-3d-printable-files-available-now/). I've seen posts regarding balloon lights in the mag and counter but I'm unsure how/where to put a switch to turn them on/off. I'd also like to wire the muzzle with lights to emulate the blaster firing. If you've done this, please post how or PM me. I'd also be interesting in buying an electronics kit from someone that knows what they are doing. I don't mind doing the wiring/soldering myself but... lets just say I'm not very good at it and not talk about the small fires that I've 'accidentally' lit in my workroom.
  3. I've admired your build via Facebook, looks fantastic. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. I did not receive a discount code. Nor was I allowed to use a discount code with the payment plan option. I look forward to their soft goods pricing and will probably order that along with a pauldron when announced. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. I wired this setup today. Using two 5v fans powered by a single 5v 3200mHa usb power stick. It is loud as hell inside and outside my helmet. Any suggestions for quieting it? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. I got the HTT, the amp is terribly under powered. After 3 weeks of trying to find "the right conditions to make it work" I ordered one of Tony's amps. Don't waste your time with HTT. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. TK62108 formally requesting 501st Access. I've been an approved TK since May 2016 and owe a great deal of gratitude to Ukswrath and his Anovos tutorial. I'm very proud to be here. http://www.501st.com/members/displaymemberdetails.php?userID=21526
  8. After more time with this setup and attempting multiple microphones and microphone placement, I can confirm that it's pretty much garbage. Sure, it works BUT the digitizer leaves your voice mostly unintelligible. I have not been able to place a microphone anywhere except for in my mouth to get reasonable volume and when I get volume the Hopi tips feedback because the mic is too close to them. <br><br> I can't hate on the tips themselves, for tiny little speakers they function as they should. The rest of the kit needs to be replaced. I just sent UKSWRATH a PM to discuss whether his amp will work with these tips. <br><br> TL:DR don't buy the hightechtoyz kit.
  9. Ok, I installed this speaker system last night. The Hovi tip speakers aren't terrible. The digitizer and amplifier aren't terrible. the Mic is terrible. I pretty much have to place it in my mouth for it to pick up what I'm saying. What mic's do you folks use?
  10. ok. Well, since I found it offered via a facebook post from someone upgrading to the iComm I jumped on it. It comes with the Hovi tip speakers and this little amp. If it's not loud enough to function properly, I'll put it back on the market for the same price I paid. If it works, I saved some money. Either way I'll be sure to update you all here. Cheers Troopers.
  11. That speaker is included in the kit I linked. Did you try the hovi tips or just that one?
  12. Was the problem with his hovi tip speaker or with the amp that powered it? 2x1.5watt 8ohm speakers should be plenty in my (primarily musical) experience. If the amp can't push enough gain without feeding back, then yeah it needs an upgrade. You switch to Tony's hovi tip system? His speakers are half the power rating which again points me to the linked kit not having enough jucie in the amp. If the price was reduced to $100 instead of the $160 would you have found it more worthwhile?
  13. Does anyone have experience or advise regarding this product? http://www.ebay.com/itm/181869042218?_trksid=p2060353.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT I understand that the static bursts aren't automatic like the iComm, but as an all inclusive, in the bucket, design I don't mind not having the static. If this is a good reliable kit with quality amplification I'm going to jump on it. Thoughts?
