I have been reading it in a few places but just wanted an update to be sure. While wearing the pack, The Thermal Detonator is not REQUIRED, Correct? If it fits, obviously wear it but if it interferes with the pack, we aren't required to wear it right? Got the Oil Pan for my pack today Gonna Start Assembly once I get my boxes. I have everything else.

Hey guys, Im doing research on the pieces needed for my pack. I got the box kit from QuarterMaster and I know what I am going to use for the other pieces. My issue is, What do I use to attach it all to the oil pan? Do i use bolts? rivets? screws? and what size? I assume I need to rivet the straps to the pan but other than that, I have no idea how to attach the pieces.

However, I have hit a bit of a stumper. What is everyone using for the black strip on the top cylinder? I tried maybe cardbaord but that didnt look or fit right. I plan to use a CLOROX Wipes container for the cylinder.

But the main issue at hand is that it still is made for larger troopers right? Im 5'9" about 175 - 180lbs Not the most muscular but muscles aren't abscent and pretty skinny I feel like i wouldnt fit right in it

I couldnt find info for MTK, is there another name for it? I was looking into AP but its just expensive is all. the guy is charging 1050 for a fully trimmed suit. is that normal? Given, AP has a very good reputation for being good quality good detailed armor... And can anyone else comment on if AM is truly for larger people. Im receiving conflicting reports

I am 5'9" and about 180. My garrison buddy is about 5' 8.5" and 190 and he says it fits him perfectly...the AM. However he is more built than I am.

Hey guys, I have been looking into getting my armor but am stuck between AP and AM. I am in contact with the guy from AP, His armor is very good quality it seems like but for the full trimmed kit he is selling it for 1050. I am also in contact with a Garrison buddy of mine who recently got AM armor He says it is very very good, Includes alot of adhesives and bolts and what not, is incredibly duarble (AP i believe is 0.08 whereas AM is 0.09) And he said he got it for around 650. Can I please get some assistance here? Is AM good armor? I'm a noob and still need to get my first armor and I did not want to go too over the top for my first suit. So I am really just hoping for some good guidance.

Thanks, I've read a lot of really good things about it. And that is has a very good price range for what you get. I emailed the contact info on the armor vendors forum, but I havn't gotten a response in a few days, Does anyone else know a different way to get into contact with the vendor?

If people are generally very happy with AM or if I should try a higher quality suit. I was looking at AP, But they are quite expensive, But very high quality details.
