I did the strips with hand pressure and a good sharp exacto BUT BE CAREFUL go slow and watch you dont slip. I found six good scores worked to snap, look at Dannys build thread for how to build a cover strip station - hes the strip master!!

I found a dremel too severe for trimming my AP. The best tool I used was a quality pair of lexan scissors and several grades of sandpaper. An exacto knife for straight edge score and snap, especially on cover strips.

Maybe try a costume rental store?

Im no authority to comment but I wish you luck! I do think you should look at your chest plate, it doesnt seem to overlap your ab plate as it should , but Im looking on my phone and its hard to see!

Notch cutting time. No biggie. Cut it, cover it with your belt, forget its there! Then its on to the last big piece, thighs... But first... My FIRST big test fit. So thighs, sniper plate, and a little tweaking and ill be done. Scary thought!

Huge congrats on a hard job, well completed! Im headed this way SLOWLY and while i struggle with my sniper plate (APs only weakness) i commend you on one of the tidiest knee plates ive seen. Im jealous!

Away i go again, installed Echos amazing kit Glue the shin strips and attach velcro And fit....

Next up, painting the ab buttons. I wont show my first attempt but im happy with these now. Time to start strapping the torso together, hoping to not need shims so tight elastics required. First test fit. (Mirror images so dont tell me the holsters on the wrong side)

Forearms are a nightmare! Even with my paltry 35 magnets i can only do one line at a time.... 4 days later and one forearm is done. They are a nightmare to get on too as theyre too oval so i may clamp them for a day or two. First they need neatening up as theyre a bit scratchy. Still they fit! And couldnt resist trying one on fully.
